On average, he gets paid $50 per experience, depending on the industry and the type of information the local business owner/manager will want to receive from its mystery shoppers -- the people who evaluate a business from the perspective of a customer.
This is the kind of home-based business that you can do part-time or full-time, depending on how much time you want to invest into your business. You can also hire other part-time people to do the actual shopping in your stead, while you handle the big picture of working with your clients directly and selling new clients.
The best part of this book is that the author teaches you how to complete more sales -- even if you have no previous sales experience. The author had no previous sales experience when he took his first sales job selling insurance. His boss at the insurance agency taught him everything that he needed to know to always be able to sell whatever he wanted to present to a prospect.
The author teaches us how he learned how to sell, then he proceeds to teach us how we can become great sales people. Beyond the standard sales training, he also presents us with form letters to mail to prospects, and he gives us scripts to follow within the context of any sales situation we might find ourselves. He not only teaches us the basics of selling and what to say, he also teaches us how to easily overcome any objections a prospect might have.
The bottom line is that a "mystery shopping business" is something that ANYONE can do, especially if they have taken the time to read and understand the information presented in this book.
I give this book "two thumbs up," and I encourage anyone who is serious about starting a small business to purchase this book and learn how to get started in this lucrative industry. Even if you don't pursue a "mystery shopper business," you will definitely benefit from consuming the "sales training" information contained within this product.
