Open Your Mind, Open Your Life is a simple yet thoughtful guide. Not just another daybook, it's practical and uplifting without the preaching. Makes a great gift. I keep one copy at home and one copy at work, and I enjoy reading from them every day.

'Open Your Mind, Open Your Life' is the best collection of Eastern wisdom I've ever found. I'm so glad to see it on Amazon. The enlightening theme is that true happiness is within us all; we have only to reveal it. Filled with over 200 simple and inspiring guideposts based on the timeless wisdom of Eastern thought - including one of my personal favourites: 'The lotus flower blooms most beautifully from the deepest and thickest mud.'
The book's compact size allows me to carry it along for those times when I need a little extra inspiration and guidance. Beautifully illustrated as well. One of the most valuable books I've ever bought, and for the lowest price, too. Highly recommended.

The pages of this beatifully illustrated little book are filled with profound insight. I have been learning about Buddhism and various Eastern philosophies for over 15 years, and I especially enjoy collections of wisdom and rare quotations, like this one. I must say this is the first book of wisdom I have ever found in which each and every thought has either inspired me, assured me, and/or provoked me to deeper thought and self-reflection. The quality of content as well as the design of this little book is truly impressive. I highly recommend "Open Your Mind, Open Your Life" to everyone who seeks self-improvement, true happiness, and a healthier perception of life's events, both the ups and the downs.

The wise maxims found in this collection sometimes seem like common sense (which is not so common), and it's so important to be reminded of them. Reading a page or two from this book each day helps me feel grounded and more hopeful. It helps me be more confident and happy.

This book is excellent - I've given it to many friends and everyone has felt encouraged by what they read! Each little idea in this book has a ringing truth that causes one to pause and think. The world would be a better place if everyone read this book and took its messages to heart.

After reading from this outstanding book I always feel happier, stronger, more in control. I keep a copy on my bedstand and read a few pages every morning and night. I also keep another copy at work and read it when I'm feeling stress. I've ordered copies of it for everyone on my Holiday list this year. "Open Your Mind, Open Your Life" is the most valuable gift I can imagine giving anyone for such a small price. I'd rate this book 10 stars if I could.

Profoundly inspiring pieces of wisdom fill this beautiful little book. There are many rare and interesting quotes from great figures in Eastern philosophy. I discovered this book after reading a comment by Dr. Arun Gandhi, grandson of Mahatma Gandhi and founding director of the Gandhi Institute for Nonviolence. Dr. Gandhi said, 'This book [Open Your Mind, Open Your Life] will enlighten and ennoble the reader.' I couldn't agree more. Excellent!
