Only For The Night is an enjoyable, sweet romance with a sexy side to it. It's the second book in the If Only series, but it works well as a standalone. I may go back and read the first book though, as that book's main characters appeared in this story as part of the supporting cast and I loved both of them. This is a an easy to read book, with a sexy rock star hero with a sweet tooth, and a baker heroine who can definitely satisfy his sweet cravings. I must say that this book made me very hungry, and I'm desperate to try a bear claw pastry - but I've never seen them here in the UK!

After being publicly humiliated by her Dom, Sage starts afresh in a new town by purchasing the town's popular bakery. But her first meeting with her new landlord turns embarrassing when his dog pinches the towel she was wearing after having a shower! Her landlord is Hank Nash, a cop turned rock star and he is absolutely gorgeous. Their chemistry is amazing, but they discover their is a big obstacle in their path if they want to start a relationship. Sage is submissive, and needs to submit to be fulfilled in life. Hank has only ever seen the ugly side of the lifestyle - a former colleague who was a so called 'Dom' that abused his partner - and now he has a hatred of BDSM. Can Sage show Hank the beauty of the lifestyle? Will Hank be able to meet her half way and make their relationship succeed?

The BDSM in this book is fairly light, so it's an ideal read for someone who's new to the genre. There are some great moments of humour in this book, and some fabulously hot sexy scenes. It's an ideal beach read where you can dream about your own tattooed, alpha male rocker! Five stars!

5.0 out of 5 stars Sweet but HOT! Mmmmmm! 8 Jun. 2016

This is not 50 Shades of Grey. It's better. For some reason, in my mind BDSM and romance - true romance - don't seem to go together. At least, that's what I thought until I picked up this book. Despite the topic, this was such a sweet story. I loved Sage and Hank, and it was awesome to watch him find his way, um, in the bedroom. Don't be fooled by the word "sweet", by the way. If you're expecting hand-holding Amish, this book is not for you. It's seriously HAWT! Definitely worth reading.
5.0 out of 5 stars I want my own Hank 11 Jun. 2016

My favorite book by Ms. Sheridan, so far.
I hated with a passion,
I fell in love completely,
I wished for my own ex-cop, rock star man.
There was a balance of dominance and tenderness.
I can't share why I enjoyed this story so much without posting a spoiler.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great love story with a serious twist! 31 May 2016

This is my first Ella Sheridan read and I absolutely loved it!
I truly enjoyed this unique, steamy and ohh so romantic story between Alpha rocker Hank, and pastry chef Sage. What made this story so unique from other BDSM reads was because this was more a poignant story of love, trust, and commitment regardless of what you're looking for in a relationship.
When Sage was publicly humiliated and dumped by her abusive Dom, Kevin, she decided to start fresh in a new town searching and seeking a whole new life. She longed for the life of a sub, but her experience with Kevin was so negative she doubted she could ever return to that lifestyle. Meeting rocker Hank, love at first sight was in the air. Hank was all alpha and commanding, but his impression of bdsm play equaled abuse. When a mutual friend realizes their predicament, he suggests lessons which help Hank and Sage understand each other and build their confidence where they discover more about their love than their bdsm scening!
Don't want to say more without giving away spoilers❤️
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Read - Loved it! 2 Jun. 2016

I love this series (If only series). It’s about the members of the rock band, Weekend Washout. Book 1, is a novella called Only for the Weekend about Vincent (known as V.). This is book 2 about Hank.

Hank is not your normal rocker. He is an ex cop with a few issues he deals with, especially abuse. The book starts with the band on a break. Hank travels to his home located in a small California town away from the hustle of big city life. But when he gets there he finds the new owner of the bakery/cafe, Sage, living there. (Hank wasn’t due home for a few more weeks and needless to say finding the beautiful Sage there was quite a shock) But at least it was a pleasant one.

Sage is a world class baker who purchased the bakery/cafe in a small California town in order to start a new life. She is trying to start over from a bad love life and a BDSM scene that went terribly wrong. When Hank suddenly comes home early to find her living in his home all sorts of emotions flood her. Horrors from the past and yet an attraction that is almost immediate. But can she deal with all right now?

The two come from different backgrounds and have different views of sexual encounters. They are both recovering from bad experiences in their past. Can these two come together and find a path to happiness and perhaps heal along the way? Or will issues from their past, that seem to keep surfacing, keep them from finding true happiness? Excellent Book and Highly Recommend!

Only for the Night by Ella Sheridan was a hot and steamy 5 star read.

The way that the story starts for Sage was really heartbreaking and embarrassing. I felt so bad for her. Sage ends up moving to California and starting over, which is where she meets Hank in a cute and funny way.

Hank can’t get her out of his mind The attraction between these two is electric. He just might be the Dom that she is searching for? Of course it’s not a simple as it sounds which makes this a great story.

I really enjoyed this read. It was the perfect kind of naughty that I enjoy reading. This is a BDSM read with a Dom and Sub that have great chemistry. I highly suggest you 1-click and get started today. Thank you for the great read Ella Sheridan.
