The author goes in depth to flesh out his characters and makes a point of digging into the factual parts to make the plot true to life. He went to the US Army Sniper school and actually interviewed and studied with the instructers there. When he describes an activity or happening, its real, not dreamt up fantasey. He draws on his own years of military training and knoledge to make you feel what his protaganist feel. Well done and exremely detailed accounts. I recommend any of his works to readers who want the real deal not fantasey.
