About the Author

Writing professionally since 2008, LeTeisha has spanned from Fantasy to Interracial Romance on her road to getting the jumping characters out of her head. Most days she’s pretty color blind, unless it’s a great shade of red (then she can’t ignore it). Other times she’s plotting her next twenty books and then remembering that the computer can’t read her thoughts and doesn’t type at lightning speed. Either way, she just can’t seem to get enough of quill to paper…or eh…keyboard strokes, apparently.

I don't really have much to say about this book except I absolutely LOVED it! Ms Newton, with the story of Royce and Celeste had me on the verge of tears for most of the book. I was in awe of Royce's love and dedication to Celeste, and although it took Celeste forever to even admit it to herself, she was clearly deeply in love with him too. This story of two broken souls drawn together, and healing together had me from the get go!

Both Royce and Celeste are my sort of people, so very sweet yet so strong too. Quite how Celeste mum and sister could be so repugnant is way beyond my level of understanding! Celeste forgiving and re-building her relationship with her sister Pam, is just another example of what a beautiful person she was inside and out. I don't know if I would be able to do it! Another plus is that this book was virtually free of annoying typos.

I LOVED this book so much, I wish I could give it more than 5 stars! I can't wait to see what else is in store in this series!!!

This is my first book to read by this author. I loved the story, could not put it down, however the ending seemed rushed to me so that it could be tied up quickly in the amount of pages we were given and that's frustrating as an avid reader like myself, because of the ending in my estimation I gave it a 4 star only; as the rating does not do half stars which it really would of been given 3 and half, I would of liked to of given it a 5 star but I believe we were only given half the ending especially as I found out that there is a lost story part to follow, which has really upset me that I would have to pay more to read a lost excerpt for this storyline which will only probably have several short chapters in the book!! Anyway let's keep it moving; the hero and heroine were spot on with their characters, I love to read that the alpha has to chase to get his woman to me that's the real definition of a alpha, the hunter, go get what you desire or be left on the waist-side, the writing was superb, loved the back story of each main characters.

This is an interracial story (BW/WM). This is Royce and Celeste's story.

I am not even sure I have the vocabulary to express how good this book was, in my opinion. This story had me riveted to my seat and I read the book in one sitting. The story of how two broken people saved each other through love. I absolutely loved how Royce was there to catch Celeste every time she fell and refused to allow her to chase him off.

I wanted to give Pam and Celeste's mother the beat-down of their lives. Pam should have been Celeste's rock not her enemy.

This was a FANTASTIC story. I would highly recommended it.

This is my first book by this author and I really enjoyed it. It deals with some difficult subject matters that some may find difficult to read but it is tastefully addressed.

At night, Celeste is a high end escort that demands and receives big money for her services with one restriction, her clients only get her for 60 minutes. By day she is a respectable paralegal assistant. However, when Celeste agrees to do an event she encounters Royce Mattherson, a powerful figure that always gets what he wants and he wants Celeste.

Royce sees something in Celeste that he isn’t sure he understands and he quickly becomes interested in finding out what it is about the escort girl that has captured his interest. As the two start to peel away each other’s layers we learn more about Celeste and the life she has endured and Royce is determined to see that she gets some justice. And along the way they come to realise that there is something more between them but will Celeste learn to trust Royce?

It was so frustrating to read the scenes between Celeste and her sister as I really wanted to do her sister some harm. Celeste has done her best to work her way out of the ghetto home of her mother and turn her life around but her sister and mother were leeches blaming her for the wrongs in their lives and making her pay. I literally fist pumped the air when Celeste finally stands up to them.

I enjoyed this book but found the writing a little stilted to start with so it took me some time to get into the story.
