This really is a thrilling, exciting song. I only heard this after ATDI had split up and i was quite dissapointed , with so much passion in one song I wish i could have seen them live. But what a back catalogue of fantastic songs they have and this is almost certainly my favourite, full of energy and feeling, with really good B-sides too this really is a fantastic single.

Amazing is all i can say about this song. If you listen to it you get the feeling and energy that At the Drive In show in their live shows. All i want to know is how they do it. If you're into indie music and are veering percariously into the heavy side, this is perfect. I've brought this cd and it has had the heaviest rotation a single cd in my collection has ever had.

5.0 out of 5 stars - Relationship Of Command - is going to blow up! 17 Aug. 2000
By Joshua Alexander - Published on
Format: Audio CD
This is a pre-cursor to the new album "Relationship of Command." These songs are amazing, as amazing as anything ATDI has done, but can not even begin to prepare you for the entirety of the amazing new album. Nothing for years to come will come even close to touching this masterpiece. Grand Royal is lucky they added this band to their stable now, because the heat is only starting. Pre-order now or miss out on the blaze... Relationship of Command 1. Arc Arsenal 2. Pattern Against User 3. One Armed Scissor 4. Sleepwalk Capsules 5. Invalid Litter Dept. 6. Mannequin Republic 7. Enfilade 8. Rolodex Propaganda 9. Quarantined 10. Cosmonaut 11. Non-zero Possibility

4.0 out of 5 stars i don't like rock but... 20 Dec. 2000

this is a tight single. It makes me want to get the cd which is saying a lot considering most rock to me is absolutely horrific sounding. The vocals are crazy and the instruments go with them real well. This is the best rock song i've heard to me. It's a lot more creative than the rock people want to talk about you know that limp korn ish. That ish just gets on my nerves. If the cd's all this good than i'd say that it's worth getting.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good, but a little different 20 July 2000
By A Customer - Published on

One Armed Scissor sees ATDI play music with a more fevered pitch than their last release Vaya. The disc contains three songs from their upcoming CD and none or the songs have the familiar slow, chant along chourus that ATDI has become know for over their last two albums. However, the music has a hook and the lyrics are strong. One Armed Scissor has me eagerly awaiting the release of the full length CD.
