I found the book via a random news story which referenced it. I downloaded the free Kindle sample out of idle curiosity, and have never been more quickly sold than I was upon reading even the first few paragraphs. Put the Kindle app on your phone or tablet and give the sample a try: if you are not convinced, then whatever grabbed me is not working for you. I pity such a fool ;-)

My only real issue is the actual recording process is glossed over. The author wasn't involved and confesses he never heard the album outside of the 15 minute private listening sessions not long before the sale. If you want to know who sang what or want insights from the Clan or about the extensive recording sessions ... that's not what this is about and the recording sessions are glossed over and this isn't a researched history that interviews the cast to fill in the blanks. But, the story that remains is worth reading about.
It's not the book I would have expected it to be. And I wrestled with that.
But it kept me enthralled for day after day as I read it. I read it twice as fast as I would read normally read a book like this.
All in all, great.
Sadly, most business books aren't about the Wu-Tang Clan. Luckily, this one is.
