The Omega Accord: America Withers...Freedom Dies Kindle Edition
"To catch a phantom, you must open your mind to new realities and venture far into the unknown.” — The Omega Accord?
After shocking murders ravage the Federal Reserve, FBI agents Mackenzie Fallon and Morgan Nash are assigned to investigate. As clues reveal connections to secret societies and ancient symbols, Mackenzie and Morgan traverse the globe in search of the truth.
The investigation twists and turns, revealing a secret brotherhood pulling the strings behind Presidential assassinations, Vatican successions, and government destabilization. The deeper Mackenzie and Morgan dig, the murkier the lines between friend and foe become.
With pandemics and global war threatening the world they love, Mackenzie and Morgan must race against a shadowy brotherhood to eliminate the mastermind before everything they love crumbles around them.
This high-octane thriller is full of conspiracy and espionage, painting a world where nothing is as it seems.

At first it starts with what appears to be a serial killer on the loose with strong connections to Ancient Egypt, and especially the Gods. I found this information and connection really good and quite fascinating. Then it seems to morph into a plot to bring major world change and has links to some world events happening now. It did very much feel like two books, and seamlessly moved from crime fiction into an all-action thriller.
Overall I enjoyed this more than I thought I was going to do at first and after a while I found it difficult to put the book down. If you enjoy all-action political thrillers then I think you would enjoy this book. At times I do feel a bit more depth was called for with the characters, and I would like to have learned more about them as it could get confusing especially when the lead character was often referred to by either of his two names. But that said I really enjoyed this book and I am happy to recommend it.
I loved the cliff hanger ending to the book and look forward to this being developed into a series, and to learning more about the characters. An interesting new author comes onto the political thriller scene. Overall I gave the book 4 1/2 stars. I could see how this could develop into a five star series as we get to know the characters and events better.

It could have been so much more but for me, it was ultimately disappointing. Guess it just wasnt for me.
