Oli Jacobs is a bearded fellow of questionable sobriety. In between bouts of whisky drinking and consumption of curry, he taps out tales. Some are funny, some are scary, most are disturbing in some fashion. Want to learn more? Then read on, dear reader...
Oli's 2 main works are Kirk Sandblaster & Filmic Cuts. Kirk Sandblaster is a sci-fi comedy series following space adventurer and general rogue Kirk Sandblaster, as he and his alien sidekick, Xlaar, travel the vastness of the galaxy in search of adventure. So far, they've faced everything from ice-based pirates, Hunger Games-like competitions, and rogue banking AI. Compared to the works of Douglas Adams & Terry Pratchett, the books contain plenty of action, tension, and sandwiches.
The Filmic Cuts series, meanwhile, is where you can find Oli's wide and wonderful short stories. Running the gamut from horror - featuring ghosts, demonic rooms, and grotesque blemishes - all the way to comedy, and the various misadventures airports, the afterlife, and dying phones can bring.
Still hungry for more? Well Oli doesn't stop there (he can't, you see). Want more horror? Visit Station 17. Fancy a boozy comedy-mystery? Then Strange Days in High Wycombe fills that quota. Or, if your mind fancies imploding, enjoy a Bad Sandwich.
Suffice to say, there are plenty of words, and OJ hopes you enjoy them all.
If you don't, he will probably cry.
