When I went searching for inner peace, every book I found was confusing or complicated, every tradition that taught about it was from another culture, and I ended up frustrated and bamboozled.
And then I realised that it's thinking that causes us suffering, or more accurately, when we believe our thoughts, we suffer, when thought stops, or when we're not getting lost in it, suffering disappears and peace is natural.
When I figured out how simple it is to start practising this way of living I was stunned, and I wondered why no-one had explained it to me in straightforward terms. Rather than complaining about this, I decided to try to make it easier for others who are seeking this peace, and so I started to write.
I hope that in some small way, these books make it easier, that they speed up the process of realisation for people who are where I was, lost and confused, seeking the path of peace.
