Offshore Telecommuting: How To Avoid Taxes and Live and Work Offshore by Lee Hadnum starts by doing an excellent job of articulating how an employee should go about convincing their employer to allow them to telecommute at least part time. It lays out the necessary tasks clearly, and provides clear cut facts that can help the potential Telecommuter get started.

The major draw for Offshore Telecommuting is the fact that you can select the country that you complete your work from. For the employee this means that if they select a country with low taxes or no taxes you could reduce or eliminate your need to pay them. They further go into detailing what the telecommuter will need in order to be able to successfully pull of telecommuting. This book also outlines for you the top no tax or low tax countries and what is required in order to reside there. This will help you to determine the best option for your residence.

You will learn the values of an offshore account when receiving payments as well as how to select a good one. It details how to protect yourself and your assets when living abroad and holding your finances in an offshore account.

This book outlines in simple English how to ensure that you cannot be taxed in a country other than the one that you reside and also how to make sure that there are no double tax treaties that apply to your income. The author is careful to note that their book is not intended as professional advice, but the clear manner in which they write about the process will help you to make informed decisions about your telecommuting status.
