While it does make for interesting reading at first, the complete lack of cohesion between chapters and the endless repetition of the same facts does make it wearisome to read after a while.
It is also quite dated, which is surprising considering it first came out two years ago (2012), and the edition I downloaded is from 2013. Judging by the entry on Suzuka, that chapter was written in 2008 or 2009. And apparently the Osterreichring will never host a Grand Prix again.
As the Kindle version is £1997.05 cheaper than the cheapest physical copy of the book, one must wonder just how much the publishers value the actual writing in the book they're selling.
At the end of the day, it's passable as a coffee-table book (whereas the physical book appears to be passable as the coffee table itself), and is best enjoyed randomly reading a chapter here and there.
And as much as I admire Bernie, his Alan Sugar impression on the cover is - in my opinion - just plain silly.
