3½ Rock and Roll Stars

Ok I have to be brutally honest, I had major issues with the book early on. I couldn't connect with any of the characters. Lia was just a spoilt, socialite, Daddys little rich girl and that made it difficult to warm to her and the fact was, I just didn't think anything could make me like her.

Delia 'Lia' Norman is cruelly dumped by her boyfriend on Valentine's Day and decides to drown her sorrows in the suite at 'Daddy's' Hotel in London. She soon realises that the Penthouse next door is being occupied by the Rock Band Slayed (No similarities to the seventies glam rock band with the dodgy hair) and she is soon introduced to Colter Slade (Colt). Apart from the fact that Colt was an insanely attractive Rock Star, I found it difficult to get a feel of his personality other than the fact that he took alpha male to the extreme with his overly controlling persona and it was the antagonist, Jessi that stood out the most for me. The fact that she was a complete bitch was clear from the start.

I was seriously struggling and I don't know whether that was due to the characters, the overall flow of the story or me, myself that was the problem, anyway let me tell you that all changed in a big way. The characters suddenly burst into life, Lia found her inner rock chick and Colt found a tender side and curbed the controlling ways without letting go of his alpha tendencies.

One thing that was clear from the beginning too, was that the sex was sizzling and although the chemistry wasn't necessarily there at the start, once the story gained momentum, so did the chemistry.

There is a major turn in the storyline that gave the book a much harder edge and that alone had me glued to each and every page.

I don't think I've ever read a book that has done a complete 180° quite like this book and what I have been left with is a thoroughly enjoyable start to the series and a need to read book 2.

OFF YOUR ROCKER : THE ROCK GOD SERIES # 1
KE OSBORN
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wow i loved this book and i just know that anyone that reads it will feel the same!!!
Delia (Lia) comes from an upper class background where her daddy has paid for everything. She has been in a relationship with Joseph for 4 years, but he has just broken it off. She goes to say at the Hyatt hotel... Where her life is about to change... Forever!!!
Colter (Colt) is the lead singer of a very famous rock band, Slayed and is staying in the penthouse at the Hyatt hotel. When he knocks the door to the room next door and Lia opens it... Everything he thought he wanted, gets knocked in it's ass!!!
Colt and Lia have such an amazing attraction that you can literally feel the energy through the pages. Their journey is not an easy though and problems continue to pop up throughout the book!!!
At some points in the story, i really did want to shake hell out of them and then kick their asses but in other places i wanted to grab them into a huge hug. The story is a rollercoaster of emotions, so i advise you keep tissues handy because when it comes to the cliffhanger... I was left heart broken and sobbing!!! I truly can't wait to see what Ms Osborn has planned in book 2 of this series, but i can bet... It's going to absolutely fantastic!!!

THIS WAS THE FIRST BOOK I READ BY AUTHOR K.E OSBORN. I CAN HONESTLY SAY I WAS COMPLETELY ENGROSED IN THIS BOOK FROM THE MOMENT I STARTED READING IT UNTIL THE END.

AFTER MEETING LIA THAT FIRST NIGHT COLT IS DRAWN TO HER LIKE A MOTH TO A FLAME.HE CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF HER SHE MAKES HIM FEEL THING HE NEVER THOUGHT HE WOULD AGAIN HE WAS HURT BY HIS EX AND NOW HES LIVING LIKE A ROCKSTAR WITH LOTS OF WOMEN AN NON-STOP PARTYING.

LIA IS SCARED AND EXCITED THAT SHE IS FALLING FOR THE ROCK GOD.THE CHEMISTRY BETWEEN COLT AND LIA IS SIZZLING HOT.

THE LONGER THEY TOUR TOGETHER THE HARDER THEY FALL FOR EACH OTHER.

IS IT LOVE OR LUST?

THERE IS SOMETHING THAT IS HOLDING COLT BACK,WILL HE GET OVER IT AND TELL LIA THE TRUTH BEFORE ITS TOO LATE?

COLT IS A WALKING SEX GOD HE'S REALLY CARING SWEET, AND HE'S REALLY POSSESSIVE.

LIA IS A DADDY'S LITTLE PRINCESS WITH A LOT OF INSECURITIES. SHE IS REALLY OUT OF HER ELEMENT WHEN SHE GOES ON TOUR WITH THE BAND.

I WAS ONLY 14% INTO READING OFF YOUR ROCKER WHEN I BURST OUT IN UNCONTROLABLE LAUGHING. THEN I WAS ON THE EDGE OF TEARS WHEN I GOT JUST OVER HALF WAY THE PAIN AND THE HEARTACHE LIA GOES THROUGH AND THEN NOT TO FAR FROM THE END COLT SAID SOMETHING THAT HE'S BEEN FIGHTING. THREE WORDS ,MAGIC WORDS IS ALL HE SAYS AND MY ARMS INSTANTLY COVERED IN GOOSE BUMPS.THEN WHEN I GOT TO THE END AND I GOT TO THE END AND I WAS LIKE A GOLD FISH, MY MOUTH OPEN WIDE.I DON'T WANT TO GIVE ANY SPOLIERS BUT I HAVE TO SAY IT WILL LEAVE YOU STARING AT YOU KINDLE IN CONPLETE SILENCE ASKING YOURSELF W.T.F JUST HAPPENED.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND READING THIS BOOK TO ANYONE WHO IS A FAN OF ROMANCE BOOKS. YOU WILL LOVE IT.

I loved this book. It was free from Amazon. The story is good, keeps you reading and was a great value read that seemed to go on and on. I finished it yesterday and have bought the sequel. The sequel doesn't look as though it's going to be as long, which is a shame.
My only criticism is that the author is Australian and is writing in UK English. There is a glossary at the beginning for non UK English readers but it's not correct. British do not call the seating in our homes a lounge or a lounge suite, we call them settees or sofas. Lounges are mentioned a lot so it niggled me a lot. Also the definition of 'git' is wrong. A git is someone who is annoying but the author's definition is Git –Silly, incompetent, stupid, silly. Perhaps I'm being picky but if they hadn't put the glossary in then it probably wouldn't have irritated me as much.
If the sequel is as good as this book then I will definitely buy more from this author.
