Giving a perfect combination of on and off road riding, The Octane Interceptor is a frame with duel sprung suspension, not only giving superb off road absorption of any bump or jump you hit but producing a smooth road ride for that morning commute. The large 26" wheels and rugged off road tyres give excellent traction whilst the 18 speed quick twist grip shifters make riding easy. Couple with the fact that the interceptor has the most current cable disc brake technology mean this bike is at the forefront of cycle design.

This Octane Interceptor came well packaged and was very easy to put together (handlebars, pedals, seat, one wheel), all the intricate parts are ready assembled and once put together the bike is very good looking and big due to its large frame, I am a hefty guy and this bike has no problem carting me about.
Disk brakes needed a little tightening up but no technical tinkering needed other than a pull on the brake cable, they perform very well and are much better than any brakes I have ever used having only ever been used to V-brakes in the past.
Suspension is nice and smooth and works perfectly as expected, large frame allows for good travel of both front and rear suss.
All in all a chunky (yet not too heavy) dependable bike, gears and brakes run smooth strait out of the box and build quality is brilliant especially as they have included disk brakes within the low price.
Was easy to assemble but I took it to [...] anyway for them to make sure I'd put it together correctly[...].
Bike looks fab - my son and his mates think it's great but on his first outing the plastic pedals cracked, he is 15 but adult sized...pedals not the best quality though?
Back to [...] then for new tougher pedals [...] and now runs brilliantly and in regular use.
Despite the pedal business good value in my opinion and looks really cool.
Cons - my bike was poorly setup and I have had to make many adjustments to get it right.
Bearing in mind this is the cheapest full suspension bike I could find then I rate it as good. I only bought it to 'try' biking again and see if I enjoyed it - I do.
The poor setup problems included chain slipping off and breaking the plastic chain guard, brake cable incorrectly routed so wore on the tyre within 10 minutes, jumping out of gear and general brake problems. I am not a regular cyclist but I am an engineer so I managed to sort these and now the bike is good.
Another point for potential buyers is that it really doesn't go up to 34" inside leg. I am 32" and I have the seat / bars set well over the minimum level to get a correct seating postion. To keep within the limits I guess 30" max would be accurate.
All in all good but be prepared to spend some time getting it right.
Bike has been sent back now and I am waiting for my replacement which is due on Monday I hope this one is correct!!
