The advantages of this title are that it's detail and level are appropriate regardless of the year of medical school that you are in, it is useful as a textbook if you are looking to cover any of the topics for the first time and if you are revising a topic. This is through the use of summary pages with highly accessible diagrams on them that succinctly convey the information both to learn and to revise topics. The title is easy to read with most 2 page spreads/chapters taking very little time to get through.
The disadvantage I suppose would be that the self-assessment questions at the end of the title are all short answer questions whereas current medical school exams have very few of these with the majority being MCQs/SBAs.
In conclusion I would encourage any medical student who is approaching their O&G rotation or who needs to revise it for exams to get a hold of this title due to it's accessibility either through buying it or borrowing it from your library.

Very good brief summary as each topic is on a double page and the pictures and tables provided are really good for revision.
