2.0 out of 5 stars Fine lenses, terrible frames. 31 Aug. 2015

I added one star for the decent quality lenses but I was disappointed in these glasses. First, the good: the lenses are fine and do what they advertise. The greens and lay of the land are noticeably more defined and they shade your eyes well. The optics have been useful for multiple rounds on days in full-sun, partial sun, and some moderately overcast conditions. They also helped articulate the clouds and landscape on a recent drive across country as well.

The frames are the real let down. They are a cheap material and poorly made.

The seams have not been burnished or buffed. This may not seem like a big deal until you wear them and realize the edges rub on the tops of your ears and the tops of your cheeks. Taking them off and putting them on feels like a plastic table knife scraping against your skin. I was able to buff them with 600-grit sandpaper to make them manageable, but why should you have to take sandpaper to a brand-new pair of $100+ sunglasses. The temple screws are recessed and hard to reach, not a huge deal but given that they loosened up within a week of buying them, it's another pain in the a** that I could tolerate from a $20 pair of sunglasses, but not these.

All in all the Oakley Holbrooks are simply not worth 1/5 of the price I paid. Check out the Smith Optics sunglasses. Comparably priced, equally good lenses, and the workmanship and frame quality is superior. Plus they come with a lifetime warranty.
5.0 out of 5 stars My new favorite for casual Oakleys 17 Jan. 2015

Great sunglasses- I especially love the lense tint. I almost thought these were fake when I first opened them because they're so light compared to my other Oakleys, but I did confirm they're real. The price is a little higher than I think it should be, as these feel like a larger coverage Frogskin, but I can't complain as they were purchased as a gift to me. If I purchased a pair outright (which I'm thinking of picking up in a different color), I would rate them at four stars. One thing that surprised me is that Amazon is not considered an online retailer of their glasses, so your warranty will not be extended by registering your glasses.

I don't think they are real and when they arrived they were not as advertised, different color then was in the description. I decided to keep them and not return but I don't think they are worth what I paid. Overall I am disappoint and I'll pay then off a little at a time. I wouldn't buy them again unless I knew the seller and was sure they are the real thing. The reason I don't think they are real is the made in the USA logo on the inside of the lens is surposed to be raised lettering, not just stamped in. I tried to get save a trip to the store and buy online but my other pair I but at the local mall is different.
5.0 out of 5 stars I love these blue tiger glasses! 16 May 2016

Saw these at a brick and mortar store to try on, bought here b/c of price. They are perfect, have a great blue front and the plastic has this rough to the feel texture that isn't hard on your face, but looks cool and I get compliments on the color almost daily.
1.0 out of 5 stars Broke after 45 Days - No Option to Exchange 31 Aug. 2015
By Marti - Published on Amazon.com

Glasses fell a part after a mere 45 days. Unable to return product because we are outside of the the return period by 15 days. For a product that is over $100 they should be willing to exchange defective items.
