This is a well made screen protector that is easy to install. It does not compromise the fit of my One Plus carbon case. The only downside is that in some lighting there is a noticeable rainbow/oil slick effect at the centre of the glass. I can live with it. Others might not! Update - Jan 2018 Purchased some new Orzly s/protectors. Better adhesive and no trace of rainbow effect.

Great protection but not Orzly silicone case friendly

Two days after installing one of these tempered glass screen protectors my Oneplus 5 fell from a shelf in my bathroom on to my sink (a drop of over 1 metre).
The screen protector cracked in two places and had a chip in the corner.
When I peeled it off I was relieved to discover that the actual screen itself was completely undamaged!
So in terms of protection, this is absolutely first rate.

However..... I also purchased a red Orzly silicone case for my Oneplus 5.
When it arrived I put it on the phone (having already installed the other Orzly screen protector perfectly) and after a while I noticed Newton rings (a kind of rainbow effect) on the screen.
This is because the lip on the Orzly case presses against the screen protector, slightly lifting it off the screen causing the Newton rings effect and also reducing the sensitivity of the touch screen, to the extent that I could hear a sound every time I touch the screen as it presses against the phone screen and then lifts back off.
This got worse over time.

In summary, an excellent screen PROTECTOR but not really compatible with the Orzly case.
I also have an official Oneplus sandstone case, and the screen protector is fine with this due to it having a smaller lip that does not push up the sides of the screen protector.

Ok as usual with great products, I have to give my thoughts.
ONEPLUS could not supply the goods so I looked to Orzly after utube review.
QUALITY product. so so easy to fit and perfect without, no edge lifting (problem that ONEPLUS has with their protector).
Orzly have gone more than the extra mile by supplying alcohol cloths 2 of. Lint free cloth. Sticky pads to remove extra dust.AND A PEN!
OnePlus would not have gone wrong if they contracted Orzly to supply accessories, they are superb.
It fits perfect and I get 2 for less than.Oneplua is asking for their out of stock, I'll fitting rubbish.
I will in future remember the ORZLY name for accessories. and will definitely check out more of their products. If they made phones I suspect you would get a quality item.
AND DONT FORGET THE FRR PEN.(only we oldies will remember what pens are for)
If you need screen protector, get this and check the company products out, I will be.

Sharp edges, cracked within 1 week, dust/hair between screen and protector!

I've used tempered glass protectors on all of my devices in the past. Never have I been dissapointed so hard at a tempered glass screen protector in my life. The display part does not stick to the screen, only the black parts - this resulted in having random dust and hair getting in from the sides and ruining the experience within 1 full day usage. On top of that the screen is pretty thick and has no rounded edges so pressing the home button feels like sticking your finger down a well and being uncomfortable as you feel like you're gonna cut your finger (overstatement but it is definitely not comfortable nor enjoyable). On top of that the protector cracked within 1 week of usage all over the place - usually my protectors lasted 6-12 months.

If you have looked around, you would probably know that OP5 tempered glass protectors suck hard and this is no exception. Using Savvies plastic protector at the moment and it felt sooooo good going back to a plalstic protector which is pretty close to the one that came pre-applied.

This is my second Orzly screen protector for the OP5, my first one was great too, but I spent a long few days sanding wood whilst listening to Spotify with the phone propped up near where I was working, and some sanding dust crept into the side of the phone, between the protector and the screen (which was annoying) and then in the lockdown and using lots of weird hand sanitisers I managed to somehow melt the surface a bit so decided to replace....
I did consider lots of others the second time around, and the negative reviews did put me off, as I thought they must have changed something in its construction, but then I decided to just go for it anyway and I'm please I did. The Orzly screen protector has a really lovely surface feel, very smooth, which makes it very pleasant on the phone, and the edges are not too sharp, though not as bevelled as they could be. I have never noticed nor experienced the rainbow effect on either protector, so can't say what may be causing that - would be interested to see if this develops but nothing as yet. I have a caseology case and the protector has enough space around it to not interefere with the edges of the case, which has a slight lip around the screen. So seems a really good fit for that type of case. Some have complained that it has cracked/fragmented in use, particularly on the edges - I suspect it has done that because it has done its job! It is designed to fracture when struck, as I could see when I removed the old one, and it cracked into small pieces in a sort of granular way. I think if you have a protector and no case, you do run the risk of it breaking on the edges as it is designed to absorb any impact in that way. But neither of mine have ever broken like that. All in all - I'd say believe the negative reviews if you wish, but I've really never had a problem with anything by Orzly and this is no different.
