OBS (open broadcaster software) works on it and lets you record the screen (x264 on ultrafast 8mb bitrate, 720p at 60fps might be too much, maybe lower bitrate) which is good.
Chrome (dev channel x32) is as smooth as butter and even works nicer than my NP550P7C core i7 laptop with a 1TB SSHD. Watching a twitch stream for an hour in theatre mode will keep the temperatures around 65-70C. (Speccy does pick up the temperature of both the Motherboard and CPU).
Steam works on it, Big picture might feel slightly slower than you would guess. So any games from 2009+ might struggle but not tested as of this moment.
Beautiful and bright display with a good gyroscope for rotation. The camera quality is a bit meh. 2MP and 0.3MP (Back and front camera specs), Mic works nicely since its a Intel sound chip. Wifi is strong (Realtek chip for both wifi and bluetooth).
Office 365 works (no regional account) so you don't have to worry if the Chinese version of 8.1 with Bing won't work with a UK MS account. But you might have to download an English version after linking the offer to your account. Also you might have to install a English language pack for Windows 8.1 to ready most in English, since some start screen names and onedrive are still in Chinese, even with the locale, language and region to English.
Just be aware the battery life is very weak. The charging is slow if you use it (never moved by a percent when charging it and watching a twitch stream via chrome in an hour.Read more ›
My initial reaction having used it today after it arrived this morning is quite poor. It's wifi range is awful, 3m fine, 5m and it just sits there and eventually asks you to turn on your wifi. The custom Android 4,3 firmware is odd. I can find no way of accessing an apps or widget screen like all other tablets. I've used all Android versions up to 4,4,4 with no bother at all. It's full of Chinese apps which I fully understand, more than I've ever seen before, to remove them means rooting and removing them but I'm loathed to do this to a new tablet as if the tablet becomes faulty in warranty your screwed, same goes for putting 4.4 onto it. The other tablet I had from China only had a few which I removed as the tablet was already rooted.
For a person looking for a well specified tablet who is new to them I would say avoid. Yes I can improve this but if it goes wrong you're in trouble, however the wifi is still weak.
A pity as the seller was top notch with very quick responses to emails and my tablet arrived much quicker than I expected. It's not their fault the tablets not so good.
After reading a comment left I decided to root it, replace the loader and ditch a heap of apps. Apart from the root saying it had failed, it hadn't SuperUser was installed and Titanium deleted the apps, it all went well. Tablets only let down is it's wifi so I've now kept it and full marks to the seller they have said that despite what I've done they will still try to help should things go wrong with the tablet.Read more ›
Basically, with the stock rom the device is quite average and mediocre.
Regardless, after using it for a while I decided to try a custom rom to see how much of an improvement it would have on the device. I suggest a great forum if you are interested: ondaforum.com
So I loaded the "Onda Z" custom rom which is based off of the latest official firmware and has a very user friendly interface (because I had my sister in mind as the end user). After I flashed the rom, it was basically like I had a completely different device. The UI is much more responsive in general and most of the other issues are gone too.Read more ›

I sold my iPad 3 to get this as on paper it should be better. Whilst I do like it I wouldn't get it again. This is due to the quality of the tablet. Read morePublished on 10 Jun. 2015 by Mr. ER Ramos

Works well with web media and Netflix. Although the display is HD, the colour is a little washed out, and the 8 core CPU does nothing for the speed of the device at all. Read morePublished on 4 April 2015 by Jppx1967
Have to agree with previous users that this ONLY becomes a great tablet once you have flashed it with a custom ROM. Read morePublished on 17 Mar. 2015 by Brian
