First don't take any notice of film poster, don't know who that is supposed to be. I enjoyed it because it was so corny. Cinematography in places was good, special effects matched the story. For women I would imagine it will be good to know that in a post apocalyptic World you can still get a bikini trim and underarm razors. Not sure what relevance the Nymphoid in the title was.

This film i just had to give 5 stars but this is not just for the film itself but for the special features on the dvd aswell.
The genius behind it all Brett Piper does a great commentary for the dvd explaining the story behind the whole making of A nymphoid babarian in dinasaur hell.Brett Piper does mention the fact that the monsters in the actual film are not dinasaurs but Lloyd Kaufman wanted the title A nymphoid barbarian in dinasaur hell.A little girl survived the "end of the world"like an armageddon and she now lives like a barbarian where monsters or shall we say dinasaurs walk the earth. There isn't much talking in the whole film but the action makes up for it.I cannot say it's a gore fest but with this film it's an exception as it is just fun to watch so sit back relax and enjoy the flick!

I agree with the previous reviewer. This is a deceptive movie - the special effects are as good as those in Beast from 20000 fathoms, regarded as a classic. It's corny, simplistic, does not in any way merit an 18 certificate, and is best viewed after a night at the pub. I love it.

he plot (if you can call it that) revolves around a barbarian girl living in a post apocolyptic future who meets a barbarian male, gets kidnapped buy a man who looks like a pantomime baddie, escapes and meets a masked man with a bizzare skin condition, and then spends the rest of the film trying to find him again. In fact the title is pretty deceptive, as there is no sex, and only one lame nudity shot. The acting is of an appalingly low standard and the "special" effects are laughably bad, and look (probably deliberately) like they were taken straight out of a 50's B-Movie. But that said, the film is so unbelievably stupid and cheesy you just cant help loving it! This is such a bizzare movie God alone knows how it got made, or why anyone bothered too. But, it really does live up to the "its so bad its good" theory, its really, really bad - but at the same time really, really good.

Ok the odd bad film is so bad it is sort of good, Plan 9 From Outer Space springs to mind. However, most bad films are just plain bad and this is one of them. Watched the first few minutes then just fast forwarded through most of it until thankfully Amazon's system crashed. it seems even the IT couldn't stand such rubbish.
