About the Author

Malachi Yahya ben Yahmin was born Sidney F. Thomas, 1951, inTrinidad and Tobago. The spiritual name identifies him as one of the literal seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, through Benjamin. Freely rendered, the Hebrew name means “my messenger, the little light, the son of the right arm.”

He was born and raised an Anglican, then schooled by Jesuit brothers at Presentation College, San Fernando. There, he won a Trinidad and Tobago Additional National Scholarship (Science) in 1969. He earned a doctorate in the field of operations research (Ph.D. 1980, University of Toronto). He has lectured at the University of the West Indies, and the University of Kentucky.

At the age of 13, unable to reconcile the conflicting doctrines of the Anglicans and the Catholics, he chose to become agnostic. Much later, in 1995, as a grown man, and after certain spiritual experiences, he entered consciously on the spiritual path. In hindsight, he had been on the spiritual path even as a 13-year old. For his spirit needed to explore an atheistic/materialistic modern secular education. That culminated in a 15-year stint as an executive of the World Bank. This allowed him to travel widely, which was education in itself, and as well allowed him to store up experiences that he could later process into understanding how the Rulers of the world for the time being do what they do.

After his spiritual awakening, he explored and received spiritual instruction variously from the Ausar-Auset Society, and traditional African priests of the Akan, and the Yoruba, including initiation as a priest of Shango (2001) and a priest of Ifa (2004).

In 2009, he became aware of claims that the Negro scattered into enslavement in the West was Israelite of the seed. This was confirmed by Ifa. That night, he had a dream and vision, which confirmed it as true both generally and in his specific case. He therefore owed Yahweh exclusive worship under the very first Commandment of the Holy Covenant to which the children of Israel are bound. In 2011 he separated unto the Most High under the vow of a Nazarite servant. The time of his vow is until May, 2021. He is by revelation the ”suffering servant” prophesied by Isaiah as well as the returned spirit of Solomon.

He is the author of academic treatises, Fuzziness and Probability (1995), and The Possibility Calculus(2017), as well as the spiritual treatise, The Appointed Time, The Tarrying and His Faith (2017).
