At room temperature approximately 50% of bond strength will be achieved after 20-30 minutes, 90% after 24 hours but we advise 100% will be achieved after 48-72 hours 3M is high performance acrylic adhesive and tends to be firm and dry to the touch. It is designed to bond materials other than skin.
How to Use
1. Clean the number plate surface thoroughly with an alcohol wipe to remove dirt and grease buildup, allow to fully dry. This is the most important step as any residue will stop the adhesive pads bonding correctly.
2. Peel the sticky pads from the paper liner and place them equally along your number plate with firm pressure each time.
3. Allow the pads to bond with the number plate for at least 6 hours before removing the red film liner.
4. Fully prepare the surface in dry conditions, not in full sun. Allow surface to dry then remove the red film liner of each sticky pad.
5. Firmly press the sticky pads to the surface allowing at least 10-20 seconds to achieve the best bond.
