Pretty tame, predictable cosy book. No great plot or deep thinking needed. It was almost as if the author was scared to let her characters out to play in case anything bad happened - like an early episode of Neighbours.

A great story about second chances that really touched me. Life does not always work out as planned. You might marry the wrong person, have kids and find its all gone belly up. Now is our time explores what happens in the aftermath. The characters were real and likeable and interesting. The style of writing provocative and I particularly liked the chapters written from different characters view points. I thoroughly enjoyed it, laughed, cried and couldn't put it down.

I've read and enjoyed all of Jo Kessel's books, but this one is the best so far. The story is touching and real - I really liked the heroine Claire and her love interest Jonah. They are a 'perfect match' - excuse the pun, he's a tennis player!
The writing style is breezy, accomplished and more-ish, making me want to keep turning the pages. There are great descriptions and its really funny in parts too. The cameo of Kate Middleton was hilarious - I could absolutely imagine that happening (I don't want to give anything away) and I love the way Jonah always refers to Claire as "Duchess" instead as the usual "Princess". Plus the Kramer V Kramer custody battle at the end was terrific. A brilliant book - you won't regret reading it.

This was a beautifully told story - a wonderful reflection of contemporary family life. Divorce, custody of children, moving-on and second chance romances made this a heady cocktail. The two main characters, Claire and Jonah, felt wonderfully real and I really cared for them and their future. But boy did Anthony de Klerk, the hero from another of Kesesel's novel's (Lover in Law) change in this book! But I guess tough life circumstances can and do make people react uncharacteristically. Who's to say that I would have been any different if placed in his shoes?
