I finished this book not feeling in any way fulfilled. The cheating in the beginning didnt really bother me as Kailees husband was not very nice. The cheating Boyd did though was what finished it for me. Also the whole cover shoot thing. i dont know about anybody else but if my husband had his hand down somebodys trousers whether itbe for work or not, i'd count that as cheating. Ifa book is angsty but it has a very happy ending i don mind, this book however was horrible. Like what happened when they split for a year? Did Boyd go with other women? How could he move away? All these questions and no answers and they it was quickly tied up. This overall felt like half a story. Im not sure if there will be a sequel. If theres not then this quite possibly the worst book ive ever read.
Im not happy. Its a real shame because the story had potential. The trust issues, cheating and the guy being horrible ruined it for me. I couldnt sympathise with the characters at all.
Also i found it strange the daughter hardly appeared. And Boyd didnt really seem too into his daughter considering he hadnt been there the first three months of her life. He just seemed totally selfish. This book gets an award for something though, yeah THE WORST BOOK BOYFRIEND EVER!

what a good read, this is the second book I've read from this author and they just keep getting better. I loved the story
line and the characters. the characters chemistry worked really well throughout the book. the book was well written, I
was hooked by the first page and couldn't put it down. can't wait to start another one of jasmine lee's books, defiantly
one of my new top favourite authors.
highly recommended

Frustrating read, these characters really did get my back up.

First impressions weren't good, to start a book with cheating to a lot of readers thats an instant no no, they could of been seperated you know soften the blow a little even though kailees ex is a cheating ass himself. So not instant bonding with the characters.

Its a bumpy ride with these two and just when you start to like either character you dislike them again

It sure did play on my negative emotions so good plot if that was the intension from the author.

A good quick read dealing with trust issues on Kaylees part, one bitten twice shy.

Boyd being a model is surrounded by half naked models, this is how he first met Kaylee, real life temptations some men face but do they cave, did Boyd cave? you will have to read it.

Its a bit like Marmite you will either love it or hate it.

Wow, where can I start?? Ok I can safely say I wasn't sure how this story was going to go, I had a love/hate thing going on at the beginning as I'm not a fan of cheating but I have to admit I was curious... Yep, I kind of had a debate with myself and I ended up finishing the whole book... Which I was kind of surprise as I said before I wasn't sure, so glad I ignored that little thing. I actually did enjoy it. I don't do spoilers so you will have to see for yourself how this story goes :)

Its a story where either you love it or hate it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Very disappointing 7 Feb. 2016

This is the first bad review that I have ever written. I was completely disappointed in this book. The only reason I give it one star is because the cover model is one of my favorites. I felt like Kailee was a bitch who flip flopped back and forth. She was a cheater herself and crucified Boyd for the very thing she did. I believe Boyd made a mistake but tried very hard to fix it. There relationship was verbally abusive and heartbreaking.
5.0 out of 5 stars Loved it! 10 Jan. 2016

This was an amazing book. Kailee and Boyd's story was like a roller coaster of emotion. At some point I wanted to smack both of them. But in the end Boyd giving her space helped her realize she loved him and was ready to give it a try.
4.0 out of 5 stars A Unique story 24 Jan. 2016

I have read a few books by Jasmine before and loved them... so I dove straight into this book

I have mixed feelings about Nothing Ever Lasts.. its kind of a 50/50 book for me, I loved and hated it all at the same time :)

Nothing Ever Lasts is a story about a Romance author and a cover model

They meet and have one hell of a journey to finding happiness

Here are my thoughts.....

What I loved >>> The plot.. amazing idea, author and cover model = genius,,, its a refreshing change to your typical billionaire, rocker, biker romance we see a lot of
>>> I loved the characters and there individual/back stories and personalities

What I found I didn't like >>> The sex.. needs more detail / more steam
the sex was like 123, quick and like reading a shopping list kind of.. I felt it was just to plain & straight forward.. there needs to be more details and more emotion
>>> Nothing Ever Lasts has the potential to be a really great 5* book... but it just felt like it was lacking a lot, maybe it needed another edit or read through
>>> I would of also liked to have seen more of Boyd and Kailee interacting with Emmy... she seamed like she was just a piece of furniture that was mentioned now and again... We need more cute dad and baby moments, I mean who doesn't love a hot guy being all sweet with his daughter ??

Don't get me wrong, I know there are a lot of things I found wrong with this book, but I in no way disliked the book... all the things I have mentioned are just points that I personally thought would make this book a 5* read for me

I absolutely love Jasmine Lee, she is a really lovely talented author that has written some great books but this book needs just that bit extra

With all that said it was a great story with a brilliant plot and storyline that I devoured in one sitting
The story was gripping and I couldn't wait to see where the story would lead and how everything would end

Overall 3.5* Read

With a little work it has potential to be a really amazing 5*
3.0 out of 5 stars Very Frustrating Book!!! 29 Dec. 2015
By Amy Crull - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
This is one of these frustrating books, one that the main characters don't learn anything until the very end. I swear this book shows you how trust is in important in a marriage. These two were constantly back and forth over the same issues. I kept wondering why Boyd kept breaking his promise to Kailee. I mean he kept saying he loved her but people in love don't normally do that. I realize it's probably hard having a relationship when you're a model. Woman do love to put their hands places they shouldn't but that doesn't change the fact that he did as well. I am glad they went to the counselor because all they did was fight and have sex. They never worked thru any of their problems until they finally went. I really wanted to like this book but I can't say I did. There was some sweet parts but mostly it was to with the baby.
4.0 out of 5 stars bumpy road to marriage recovery 23 Mar. 2016
By Brenda S Kness - Published on Amazon.com

All in all I enjoyed this book bu I didn't love it. When it comes to cheating in books it really isn't an issue. But the main character is not something to just let go. She sucked like really bad and I did not care for her at all. She was a really bad attitude. That aside, The ride is a long and bumpy one. Tjhey fight and have sex and repeat a lot! A marriage takes a lot of work and trust is the key. I really liked they went to a counselor for help.. I did enjoy this story for the most part though. I think it is one of those you will either love it or hate it there is no in between. It is one you just have to read for yourself.
