Not letting go by RB Hilliard a fantastic five-star read. This is the second book in the MMG series, the first book in the series is His end game. Each book is about the same group of characters and focuses on a main couple, the first book was focused on Max and Ellie and this book focuses on Gage Blackwell and Piper O’Conner, we met them both in the first book, Piper is best friends with Ellie and Gage helped Ellie out when she needed it most. Gage seems to be a knight on a shining white Harley, for everyone apart from the one person he needs to be there for Piper.
Pipers world has crumbled around her, heartbroken and betrayed she turns up on her best friend’s doorstep bruised and battered. Feeling like the world is against her and will never be the same again. Piper starts to put her life back together; she makes new friends and tells her old friends that she will share what little she can but is too scared to share too much as she knows if anyone finds out the truth they will end up fighting for her and getting hurt. Piper starts to feel stronger in herself, but still broken in some ways as she left the only man she knowns she will ever love Gage Blackwell as Piper knows she will never find another love like that again.
Only thing is Gage wants to know why the love of his life ran away from him, he went away for work and knows Piper wasn’t happy that he was working away but that didn’t warrant her running away and hiding from him, he finds her and turns up to surprise her, the only thing is he doesn’t get straight answers he just gets sucked into half-truths, will he find out the truth in the end? And will what he finds out make him look at Piper differently?
This was a great second book and to find out if Gage and Piper get their happy ever after you must read the book.

Having read book 1, and thoroughly enjoying it, I didn't even imagine I could enjoy book 2 as much. Well Oh my goodness! I could not put it down. The love story, the plot, the suspense, the humour and twists and turns had me fixated from beginning to end. It's also a good continuation of Max and Ellie's story. I can't wait to read book 3 and Dillon's story. I absolutely love this author and would definitely recommend her books.

I am loving this series. Hilliard has really nailed the story of Piper and Gage and I was hooked from the start - just the right amount of action and romance. There are a lot of characters so concentration is needed for parts but all in all a great read .... away to start the next one, can't wait to find out was Dillon's story is!

I just loved this book!!! Ok this book blew me away!!!
I enjoyed the fact I had gotten to know most of the characters from His End Game the story was seamless and answered my many questions regarding the characters in fact I wanted to join them.
RB did a fantastic job allowing us to become part of it being able to connect with the story. This isn't a wishy washy hea story it's got so much depth and grit to it, showing a love that is almost lost and friendships I'm envious of. Can't wait to get my fix by reading One More Time ☺

This is book 2 in the MMG series.

This is Pipers and Gage's story. At the end of book 1 of this series Piper returns to Charlotte pretty banged up to lick her wounds and to be with her best friends. She refuses to tell her friends what happened to her and tries to build a life back home again. She starts work in the bar Ellie worked in and begins to get her confidence back.

We briefly saw Gage at the end of book 1. He's a biker and with his few friends turns up at the bar Ellie works at. He doesn't know that Piper is there to start with and is in town trying to start a new life after leaving his old one behind. Piper and Gage had been a couple before her return home. The story goes from here.

I loved Piper in book 1 she's really funny and feisty and she continued to make me laugh in this book. She tries to hide behind this at times to do what she feels is protecting her friends and family. She doesn't think she will ever get happiness and on return home she's trying to accept this.

Getting to know Gage in this book i fell hard for this book boyfriend. Who doesn't love a hottie with a beard on a bada** bike?!?!?! He's also very protective and a great friend often helping out the others. When needed he drops everything to help Piper out when she finds herself in trouble even though she pretty much broke his heart.

There are lots of twists and turns in this book and i would say it was a little more darker than book one and i absolutely loved it. There's fights and shootings, Kidnappings and rescues, chases and mystery, this book has it all! The chemistry between these two is off the charts hot!! I really loved book 1 but this one?? OMG i couldn't get enough! i ate up the pages like a starving woman!!
