Format: Paperback
I have read many biographies an autobiographies and this was by far the worst. There is no real passion in the book it consists mainly of quotes from Joan Crawford herself which in my opinion told you very little about anything and fails to show any emotion about the difficulties she encountered through her life. There is also many synopsis of the films she was in which I feel were unnecessary, it added nothing to the book.

There is not much else I can say as quite honestly after plodding through the first half of the book in the hope it would become more interesting I gave up reading it. I did give it a fair chance but found it to be a chore rather than enjoyable reading.

I found this interesting to read.Although the author includes many quotes regarding the the daughters bio of JC being unjust I found that the actual words of Miss Crawford did hint at something else and maybe there was some element of true in her story.
