Its a 500 mile hike of various weather conditions and although I walked in may & june I wore them often as temps in the mornings in mountains were very cold.
My main motivation for purchase was lightweight and ability to take photos on my iphone without removing them.
They fit well, are very comfortable to wear with good movement, easy to use any app on iphone and they do protect from a chill, I was glad to have them.
They also wash well in the machine, no softner added as with all technical clothing.
I did experience some extreme weather crossing the pyranese mountains, where heavy rain soaked through them and higher up as then temp dropped further they froze on my hands and wear unbearable to wear
Hence my heading, the description says they will protect from fierce elements, this is not true
Saying that, the very best of my equipment suffered under the conditions of that particular hike as did I
I wore them plenty after this day
They had some protection from chill and a light short rain shower
The main feature is the etip, which works well and they are very comfortable to wear and light to carry round when not in use
They have been through the wash cycle several times and still look and work well
Although in England it is not extremely cold I was still needing gloves for my commute to work and was thinking these would be perfect. I will give credit that they do work very well with my touchscreen phone and kindle but unfortunately that is where my praise for these gloves ends. My hands still feel like ice after walking outside for about 10 minutes. They feel almost as cold as if I were to not wear them at all - so for me this completely defeats the point of the gloves. Since purchasing I have spoken to other people who have owned these gloves and have found the same problem so I don't think I have just got a faulty pair I think they are just too thin to offer much insulation and protection against the cold.
I really wanted to love these as they sounded perfect for what I was looking for but sadly they do not deliver. They look great and are nicely fitted so are very easy to type on a phone or tablet but just don't keep me warm, which is really my main reason for buying them.
Amazon have been very helpful with sorting out my return though so I would definitely order from them again.
The E-tip is brilliant, really handy for phones, sat nav, etc just wish they were more insulating as still get cold hands.

Works as advertised.
Things to be aware of: they are not too thick, so consider weather in which want to use them, and you have to always use pad of your finger, not... Read more
