I have just finished reading this e-book. It took no more than half an hour (there is more to read, but its only further info if you want it) and I can honestly say I have learned all there is to know if you want to start your 5:2 lifestyle today. Book is exactly what it promises to be, informative and very well written. I have been fasting 5:2 and 4:3 (depending on how I feel) since late November and have since noticed big improvements to my waste line, energy and overall well being. I bought this book as it was free and I was curious to see what it offered. Its excellent value for no money! If you want to know the basics of fasting this is where you should start. Thanks to Dr John E Fitton for this no-nonsence guide.

I have so far lost 30lb on this diet myself and do not think I would have succeeded, using this book alone. The diet is great, the book however is really basic, too basic. Yes the facts are there, though for me I found it lacking in depth and interest. Moreover, it seemed to be overly bulked out by the Appendix from Wikipedia. Sorry, I would not recommend this to a friend who wanted to start this form of eating regime.

Okay as a guide but an impossible regime to follow I found this both difficult and unmanageable I wouldn't bother :o(

Literally a no nonsense guide, the book is as it say's on the tin. For those looking for recipes and other guidance, you need to look elsewhere.

Easy to read and to the point, gives the information needed to get the idea behind the diet, found it useful

I bought this and it was cheap, but a large chunk of it was about religious fasting - and therefore not very relevant or helpful.
