Have seen reviews where people have bagged out this phone because it's a grey import - mine arrived with an Italian manual, a separate USB mains plug and the phone initially in Italian. However, taking a flyer I started to set up the phone and found that after clicking the right hand option 2/3 times you get presented with the option to choose your language - sorted! Just make sure you have correctly selected English before you press ok as the phone the restarts itself and assumes that it is now in the correct language and so to change it again you have to find your way to the settings menu which is a bit more challenging - but possible!
The shame of it is that I assume that many people will send their phone back without trying this and miss out on a good deal. My 72 year old Dad was a bit flummoxed when he found his were Italian (he'd ordered 2) but I talked him though the few steps to the language set up and it was fine. (Unfortunately he managed to select Filipino on the second one and we had a 'happy' half an hour on the phone with the help of Google Translate finding the appropriate setting to switch it to English).
If the seller know that they are selling grey imports (which they do as they provide a separate uk plug) then why do they not just provide a slip of paper with the steps required to set the language - it would be no trouble and they must get loads sent back unecessarily...
As for the phone - it's great. Not too big, but with a reassuringly solid feel in your hand (much nicer than our old Sony Experia Tipo). I bought at the same time the 'Nokia Lumia 620 Premium PU Leather Slim Fit Flip Case / Cover / Pouch / Holster' by Terrapin for £1.99 and it's great - fits a treat without making the phone overly bulky.
Much prefer the Windows Operating system - makes Android feel really clunky. Overall would definitely recommend.
