I was lucky! I bought this product when it was greatly reduced in price; in fact, it was cheaper than the DT-900 in black. Otherwise, there is no way I would have bought it.

The charging pillow is, as I am sure that you are aware, no more than a DT-900 inserted into a pillow. The advantages are that the phone does not overhang the pillow, is less likely to become dislodged and is easier to position correctly. In these regards the pillow is great and superior to just about any other wireless charger.

But I would be unlikely to pay full price for it and would not have bought the blue one had it not been for the fact that it was so greatly reduced. I use the pillow in the living room but a more compact charger in the study and at work.

The convenience of wireless charging of your mobile cannot be exaggerated. It is simple to pop down for a quick top-up when it is not being used and puts no strain on the micro-USB port (I know several people whose phones became unusable/unchargeable because of the accumulated damage done to the micro-USB port on the phone due to repeated insertion and removal of the cable). If your phone has wireless charging built in, or has an available clip-on wireless-charging case, then DO make use of this facility. And, if you can get the Fatboy pillow at a decent price then it's worth it. (The five stars I have awarded reflect the price reduction - at full price I would give only 3 stars.)

I have a microsoft Lumia 950 phone and this charging system works well with it. The phone has a leather protective cover which does not have to be removed for the charging to work. However the charge rate is quite slow so I tend to use it overnight. It is good that should you need to grab your phone in the middle of the night there is no charging cable getting in the way. I have given it 4 star simply as I think is a little over-priced for what it is.

The only downside that I can think of is that it ain't much of a pillow really, the soft stuffing only fills the outskirts of it. So for that it gets -1star

The fatboy charger looks great. You can choose the colour that fits tour taste/interior. It works exactly how it should. It takes the same time as an usb charger and shuts automatically when your phone battery is charged. Even with an extra soft cover there are no problems. Inside the bag there is a standard wireless charger, but the fat boy makes it a great thing to (must)have.

Charger works a treat and the novelty pillow looks cool. Difficult to see charging light when using the pillow but your phone lets you know when its charging, you just have to make sure you align the phone to the charger correctly. Don't forget you may need a charging plate for your phone.
