This is a great little phone, especially for the price:
-- Lightweight and well built
-- Nice screen, resolution and brightness.
-- Same old school features (light, radio, recorder)
-- Front and back camera (not comparable to smartphones etc)
-- Opera browser, Facebook, Amazon, ebay links etc.
-- Great battery life, easily 5/6 days for me.
-- Micro ~USB charger
-- Classic Nokia style menu and control,

I had a second phone which I used for work (HTC smart phone) and was only using it for calls and texts on Vodafone One Net, very glad I have switched to this lovely little Nokia, so easy to carry around and great battery and usability.

Last photo was taken with the back side camera.

Not many people are going to be using this as their primary phone, but this is an ideal second handset to have with you in many situations. This could be the perfect second phone for work if you're on the move a lot and want something small, light and durable; it can be knocked about and dropped far more than smartphones and you won't need to worry about the battery dying on you. It would also be ideal for trips, especially camping trips or weekend festivals where you might not have access to a power source. It would keep you in contact while still giving you basic internet and access to your social media.

The big draw of this phone to me is the battery life, I can literally go a whole week without needing to charge it. People over 30 like me will remember a time before smartphones when the battery life of your phone wasn't something you had to constantly worry about, the beauty of the Nokia 216 is that on top of the great battery life you also get features we've all become accustomed to on our mobile devices such as Internet, radio, front and back cameras (with flash), MP3 player and a torch amongst others - it's even IPv6 water resistant.

The design of the phone is very nice; it has an old-school physical keyboard, a bright 2.4” screen which is small but still very usable and the phone feels comfortable in the hand. As you'd expect with something carrying the Nokia name, it's very well built, it feels like it could take a fair bit of punishment.

The call quality is top notch, it's crystal clear for me at both ends – better call quality than my regular smartphone.
The Opera web browser has easy access to many popular websites and it's easy to navigate to your bookmarks.

I am very happy with this phone it is so much better than the one I am replacing it with. I am on a sim only contract but did not want a smart phone (my work takes me outdoors for long periods so I wanted a simple phone with long battery life) and the phones on offer from my provider were not quite what I was after. This phone works very well with my sim I am pleased to say. The phone is compact enough for me to slip into a pocket and robust enough to cope with my lifestyle (my last one got chewed up by a rough cut mower - which is, I admit, at the extreme end of the spectrum) Most importantly it has a clear screen and text and icons that are easy to view, my close up vision being not to bright. It is also loud and flags up missed calls and text messages clearly. I use a lot of noisy machinery so I tend to miss many calls so this is very useful to me. The software has some internet capacity but I don't use that, nevertheless it is there along with the now ubiquitous Facebook. Apps I get which are useful to me are calculator & calendar (which I expect must be pretty much standard in all phones now) but these are quite clear to view. There is also an app to add notes, a weather app (which oddly gets my location wrong). Radio, music, etc. It has a 0.3 megapixel VGA camera which is OK for a quick shot or to set some wallpaper but you wouldn't want to use it for your photo album.
Minus points - my only really minus point is the contacts list. I can only add one number per contact which is a bit of an innconvienience when I had contacts with landlines, mobile numbers, office numbers etc. Also I can not add emails or addresses. Hence only 4 stars.

When the world is destroyed by either nuclear holocaust or an extinction level event (such as a very large asteroid) there will be 3 things that survive. Cockroaches, childrens plastic dolls and Nokia mobile phones.

This is the usual Nokia indestructable build quality, easy to use, intuitive interface, decent battery life and very good call quality (considering its not 3G). Bluetooth pairing is simple and causes very little battery drain (as it should), the camera isn't very good but then again you buy this phone for making calls and not taking photos, but at least you can snap some photos so when this outlives man the next dominant species can see how we liked to take photos of ourselves and our food.

If you don't need the features of a smart phone but do want a reliable device that doesn't need constant charging (take note Doro) then this Nokia is the one for you.

Works well for a basic phone which is what i wanted. The only problem the case can be very difficult to avoid dropping due to being very smooth.
