I had ordered 2 of these brand new for my PC build, however only one was new with the other clearly a refurbished item, which was missing mounting screws, as well as being poorly packaged with no protective inner plastic housing.

Fortunately my computer chassis came with an abundance of mounting screws, so the missing screws weren't an issue. My main concern at the moment is why the fan was returned, and whether that was due to a fault or simply being a wrong order. I've had it running in my system now for a few days (as of writing this) and so far all is well.

I would appreciate it in future if refurbished / returned goods aren't labelled, and sold as brand new.
