I must confess to being an ardent follower of Jeffrey Archers writing but on thiss occasion I was very disappointed. Not up to his normally high standards of "suspense". Still, everyone is entitled to one set-back?

Very disapointed the book was advertised as short reads (plural) but when I read it there was only the title story. To me reads means more than one.

When it says 'Short Reads', I did not think it would be one story only. The plural in Read was misleading. The story was OK. Too short for holiday reading.

Never guess the outcome sucks you in to reveal the master stroke. Love Jeffrey Archer as an author. He always delivers the surprises. So easy to read and hard to put down. Have paid the price of reading to late into the night but could not leave the story.. Fantastic for holidays especially the short stories.

I'm sorry to say only one star from me. I've enjoyed all of this author's books that I've read and although only about 20 pages long it has no substance and at the end of my read I was left feeling, well, it that it? And it was.

Not very exciting, although not expensive expected a bit more for my money, yes disappointing wouldn't bother again with a short read or reads as stated leading one to believe there was more than one story.

Just a far fetched witty little short story that will pass the time for a short while and it is cheap.

This is about a young man down on funds and love looking for a place to stay with a certain amount of unpredictibility.

So much like the start of the old film. Good bye Mr Chip, however with a modern twist and adopted to a short story. I love J.A. Short stories they can take you out of the city and readable especially in this case with a good coffee.

I know I have this already in hardback but great to have on Kindle, when I want to escape
