Allen Carr's weight-loss method is unique. All others involve an element of restriction, leading to feelings of deprivation - which is why so many attempts to lose weight end in failure. With 'No More Diets' you will enjoy your food far more right from the start. Once learned, the principles can never be unlearned, ensuring that the benefits in health and well-being you experience will be permanent.
No More Diets is not just for people who want to lose weight but for anyone who wants to relish their food and live a longer, healthier, happier life. --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.

You can eat as much of your favourite foods as you want to, as often as you want to, and be the exact weight you want to be. You can acheive this without having to diet or undertake a special exercise regime, without using willpower or gimmicks, and without feeling deprived and miserable.
Before I discovered the information contained in this book, most of my attempts to lose weight were short-lived. While weight loss was my main objective, everthing was fine. But whenever I was faced with some seemingly more urgent project, my resolution weakened. I would return to the same eating habits, and hence the same weight, as before. Consequently for many years I believed that being overweight was the one problem that could not be solved by my method. The essence of the method is that with the correct frame of mind it's very easy to get completely free of any kind of addictive behaviour, once and for all. But you can't stop eating.
Fortunately, you don't have to. What happened to make me realise my method would work for weight control? I owe it all to a squirrel. --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.

As with smoking and drinking books of Allen Carr's I've read. This worked as if by magic. Simple to understand. And all common sense. It's difficult to go wrong.Published on 31 May 2014 by William Smith
I read Allen`s other book, how to lose weight and found this a good 're-cap of that, and it helped me with some questions I had about the easy way.Published on 28 Mar. 2014 by martin pirie
This diet book (because it is a diet book whatever it claims) is interesting and thought-provoking in its evolutionary theory of what humans should eat. Read morePublished on 17 Feb. 2014 by Cat
