5.0 out of 5 stars Help for both high handicappers and more experienced players. Worth the read. 8 Oct. 2015

This book is definitely NOT what I expected. Rather than simply telling you "do this, do that", accompanied by some photos, Tom Pranio actually explains the whats and whys. I had taken some lessons with Tom a few years ago and after reading the book I wanted more. I recently had the pleasure of having more lessons with Tom and he used a lot of the philosophies described in this book, which is an evolution of his earlier methods. As I began applying these philosophies, and concentrated on being less "ball bound" things just clicked. I'm really looking forward to the next lesson and can't wait to apply what I've learned out on the course.

Even if you are not in the market for lessons it's still worth reading because this book dispels some myths that people have accepted as fact for many years. It helps in making golf more enjoyable, and less stressful. Which I think is the ultimate goal :-)

I have read a lot of books on the golf swing mechanics and this book by far tops them all. This book refers to the most important body part for a consistent, fluid swing which is located between your ears.

Rather than trying to mimic some professional golfers swing or read about some hall of fame former champion's thoughts on what a swing should be like, this book helps bring out the player you should be regardless of your own swing mechanics.

As a former high school ballplayer I never had a coach tell me how to swing at a ball. .... just hit it hard and the mechanics took care of themselves.

Can't wait for Tom's next book.

It really is no b.s. I read the book last night and had a few doubts. So, I went out and just decided to do what he suggested. Look at my target and not stare at the ball. First ball a little right. The next five right to the target. It actually worked. I just let my body take over and the results were perfect. Now I know not to stand over the ball and psych myself out. Great non traditional book. Highly recommend it.

Great book! Simplifies the game, makes it much more fun, easier on the mind and body. Added, the author is easy to contact via email and replies in a very timely fashion. I'm confident this book will help de-clutter your golfing mind and help you play solid golf. Thanks Tom!
1.0 out of 5 stars Mostly BS 5 Jan. 2016

The author accurately describes the state of golf instruction, mostly BS, but his solution that you know intuitively what to do is ridiculous.
