The sheer amount of light coming out of this tiny monster is shaped by a state of the art reflector, giving you a wide, smooth beam that reaches 283m. A stainless steel crenulated bezel protects the mineral glass from from drops and impacts. The patented 2-stage switch lets you use the TM11 at close range or to conserve battery power, by selecting only the brightness you need. The switch works like a camera shutter button; press it half way to switch between brightness or press it all the way for a maximum output of 2500 lumens. This is one-handed operation at it's best. Lockout mode allow you to not only conserve battery power, it helps you avoid accidental activation of the light during transport. It can run off of 4 x Li-Ion 18650 or 8 x CR123A. In an emergency, you can even run the light off a single 18650 or 2 x CR123A. Waterproof up to 2m, this light is a must for emergency situations, caving, mountaineering and long trekking adventures.

I bought the 2500 Lumen version TM11, from Lumen Tactical.
I've seen this flashlight on the NiteCore web site, but couldn't find where to get one.
I already own the 2000 lumen TM11, the 2450 lumen TM15 and Love those flashlights as well. The TM11 being my Favorite!!!
But when I saw NiteCore was making a new version TM11 with the XM-L2 (U2) LED's, that emitted 2500 Lumens, I had to have it.
I finally (after much searching), decide to use the "Ask the Owner" on Amazon's web site, and within 10 minutes, I received a reply from the Amazon Seller "Lumen Tactical". I just couldn't find the 2500 lumen TM11 anywhere else.
They replied that they have them in stock and are selling the new 2500 Lumen version of the TM11.
I immediately ordered one, and received it in 3 days, in perfect condition, and perfect working order. In short...Very Happy Camper!
This flashlight is Super Bright, Super Compact, Built like a TANK, IPX-8 waterproof, very easy to work, and fit's comfortably in 1 hand. You can feel the weight, it feels really solid, but not to heavy because it's a very compact flashlight. It's really well balanced, this is just a really well thought out & designed flashlight!
I'm extremely happy with it!!!
The paper work that came with this flashlight states it's published runtimes are taken, with using 8-1500mAh - CR123 batteries. They don't state the manufacturer, but only say high quality. Thats another big plus to this flashlight, it can run on 8 - CR123a batteries, or 4 - 18650 Li-ion rechargeable (Protected) batteries, the higher the mAh capacity/rating, the longer the runtimes will be extended.
There stated runtimes with the CR123a's are pretty impressive as they are, but if you buy some high quality, high capacity "Protected" 18650 3400mAh batteries, you'll get a great increase in your runtimes, due to larger storage capacity. Well worth the extra investment, for such a good flashlight!
I use Orbtronic Protected 18650 3400mAh batteries in my 2000 lumen TM11, my 2450 lumen TM15, and my new 2500 lumen TM11.
Now, as of 6-25-14, I use all 3600mAh Orbtronic Protected 18650 Li-ion batteries.
They don't offer them here on Amazon, Only on the Orbtronic web site, and they are hard to get. They will only allow you to buy either 2 or 4 batteries per order. When they get a new batch, they sell out quickly, so I often check the Orbtronic web site for there availability.
These 18650 - 3600mAh Protected batteries extend runtimes through the roof!
No other retailer sells them, not EagleTac or NiteCore.
The last I heard, yesterday, (through emails with them), they only had 19 left in stock, so I ordered 4 more.
So if your looking for that perfect flashlight, this one might be for you.
It's actually slightly smaller than a 12oz. pop can. Very easy to hold and use.
Everything about this flashlight screams High Quality!
I own 3 NiteCore TM's (Tiny Monsters) the TM11 first and second versions, and the TM15 first version, and absolutely LOVE all 3.
I prefer the TM11 because it's fill light is brighter than most. Close to a flood light, yet still has a super bright hot spot.
The hot spot is large, (and again) Super Bright, and with all of the fill light, it really lights up the night!
This is my favorite high powered flashlight.
It might be your favorite to?
I do highly recommend this flashlight, and the seller Lumen Tactical!
Note: Be aware that different sellers here on Amazon may still be selling the 2000 lumen version, & not the 2500 lumen version.
The Seller "Lumen Tactical" does carry and is selling the 2500 lumen TM11
They are an excellent seller, they ship fast, and quickly respond to any and all questions.
Update: After practicing with the button controls I finally knew how to work it. Used it at camp at Yosemite and it performed flawlessly. We didn't have strong lighting while cooking so I turned on the flashlight at 2000 lumen and aimed it on top of our canopy which had a silver lining and the reflection was incredibly bright, ran it for 45 minutes to an hour continuously. The flashlight does run hot at full power and can burn you if you touch the top part but the fins does help dissipate the heat and the cold temperature at night also helped cooling it. I had to use a hand towel to hold the flashlight to turn it off as it was hot to touch. My friend was amazed in how bright the TM11 was. The TM11 was also instrumental when we had a blackout as I just aimed the beam upwards on the white ceiling and the living room lit up nicely using the moderate setting.
