Arrived on time for my birthday, which was also the date the Mario Edition Switch was released. Perfect timing lol.

Nothing better than finally getting my hands on a Switch, after spending months trying to find one but always finding out they're sold out. Incredibly easy to set up and put together, graphics are crisp, but playing games like Mario Kart 8 and Smash Bros. on the TV is a great experience. It's easy to see why this is such a popular games machine-the ability to play it in your hand or on the TV/monitor was genius.

What I would say though, like myself, invest in a Pro Controller if you want to avoid Joycon issues further down the line. The controller feels great in the hand, and makes the gameplay in some games such as Smash Bros. a lot better. Also worth investing in a tempered glass screen protector-they're incredibly cheap and a safer bet than the included screen protector.

All in all-extremely happy with this purchase.

My favourite colour is red, so as soon as I saw this online, I had to buy it! My one concern when I first saw it was that the red and blue looked a bit odd together. However, when it arrived, I found out that this was not the case, thankfully. For some reason, pictures make it look strange, but it actually looks really good in person. This Switch is also always the battery improved model, HAC-001(-01). If you are looking for a “better” Nintendo Switch, note that this Switch is only different colours, there are no other noticeable improvements. One thing I don’t like so much is the fact that the kickstand is still black. It looks rather out of place. In terms of use, like any Nintendo Switch, this is a great device, for home and on-the-go gaming. It has a wide library of great games to play. It can be rather expensive to be a Switch owner, seeing as both the device and games are rather expensive, but it is worth it if you enjoy the games. Overall, this is a great Nintendo Switch that I definitely recommend purchasing if you like the colours.

when you get this thing out the box, it just looks so much better in real life. the blue and red go so well together, i would have to say it's one of the coolest looking designs out there.

if you don't have a switch, it's a pretty good time to get one, especially with the massive game library nintendo have now. such a huge collection.

comes with a screen protector, but i don't really like using them so i just skipped putting it on. i rather look at the super sharp display than have screen protector ruin the look of it. if you're careful, then it shouldn't really be a problem.

also there is a carry case which i'll probably never use, but i guess it's a nice little extra.

Order 31/03/2021, for daughters April Birthday, she didn’t start using it until May and then only intermittently, it then stopped charging in December 2021. I then bought a lead from Amazon which I thought had rectified the problem but my daughter did not make it clear that it had not (she was only 8 at the time). I’m a single mum working full time with an eyesight problem and not much time to concentrate on these things but oh how I wish I had. Amazon help desk were helpful but the company that sold it were extremely unhelpful but most importantly their one line responses made my blood boil. I’m buying another but from Argos as I’m tired of buying on the internet and losing my consumer right. I’m told I should have had the reasonable expectation that the product or any product for that matter would not breakdown within such a short period of time.

Everything about the Mario Switch is top notch other than the Left JoyCon drifts to the left about every 5 mins. I put this down to Nintendo's way of making extra sales and not the actual product. Amazon gave partial refund so bought new ones and back to happy for now.
