This replaced another 3rd party wired sensor which was flimsy and only worked for about a year before it gave up. This wireless unit is a complete contrast - sturdy and well constructed, incredibly easy to set up (you just turn it on) and so far seems to work excellently. It functions as well, if not better, than the wired alternative. There is a slider to adjust the width of the pickup which has helped the tracking on a our setup where we are perhaps too close to the TV.
It might be battery hungry but that’s yet to be seen. We’ve only had one set in it so far and used it every day for almost a week. We’re using rechargeable 1900mah eneloops so it’s not a concern for me.
