A must have as soon as I saw them - the name alone sold them to me! Made them for my brothers (both well over 25!)at a family gathering, and they just loved them. I used green icing on some to make ninjabread turtles - such fun.
I am not, to be honest, very good with icing and piping etc. but with some ready to roll fondant icing and a few minutes of experimentation, the biscuits looked like totally radical dude!

Everyone knows the power of a ninja comes from gingerbread, just like everyone knows that ninjas have supreme power. Many moons ago an old wise ninja combined his own power with gingerbread to form the ultimate power, ninjabread men. This review is written in the form of a story, the story of my quest to secure the legendary ninjabread men.

The blossom fell from the trees around me as I walked slowly up the worn, curving path, my hand resting lightly on the hilt of my sword as the wind gathered pace, roaring through the branches. I stopped and lowered my head to listen for any out of the ordinary sound, the hat on my head covered my eyes so I could focus on the other worldly senses. Nothing, there was nothing but the natural forces of nature all around me. I continued my slow and steady progress up the path, still with my hand resting lightly on the comforting hilt of my sword. My quest had been long and arduous, but finally I was approaching the end of my story, whatever the fates had decided that end might be.

With dusk gathering around me I saw, finally, the building I had been seeking. It seemed to loom over me through the now dense trees and undergrowth like some kind of creature from the very depths of darkness. A light rain began to fall, dripping off the rim of my hat and adding to the crescendo of noise the wind had already created. I did not quicken or slacken my pace, but approached the doors to the building, and slammed them open with a mighty dragon punch. I entered the postal office and picked up my parcel, due to the large packaging the postman couldn't fit it through the door. This is my first warning with this item, make sure you are in to receive the goods.

My wife spent a while finding a reseller for these cutters that sold the FRED brand ninja bread cutters, this listing has indeed got the FRED brand cutters in their pictures. However the cutters that arrived were the cheap versions from "The Monster Factory". So they were completely mis-sold.

I've attached a picture of the ones we actually received.

These cookie cutters have a fun theme and I can't wait to use them but as soon as they arrived I instantly saw how cheaply made they were, flimsy steel that easily bends and distorts. One of the ninjas heads was a bit out of place and I had to bend it into the correct position very carefully. I am hoping the flimsy quality shouldn't be too much of a problem, if I am careful, as I can bend them back but ideally I'd rather not have the hassle. However, if I was to get them again I would pay a bit more and get the ninjabread men by Fred as they look really sturdy, decent quality on reviewing them on youtube etc anyway I am sure these ones will still make excellent gingerbread men, just have to be a tad careful and store them safely so as to not damage them.

I don't know whether the seller 'igurantee2' was having a bad day, and just to say i have NEVER written a bad review before, but this product arrived in a tatty, ripped plastic bag. The white label which is grubby has a sticker saying "new"on it. and has been stapled badly to the bag. I am so disappointed as i bought these for a friends birthday. It says that they should be boxed but they aren't. I don't think other people received theirs in this manner or there wouldn't have been such good reviews. Not opening the bag. Returning them tomorrow.

These are simply awesome, and the recipe you get with them is delicious. I made these for my boyfriend's birthday party and they were gone in minutes. If you are careful with how you cut them out you can get at least 24-28 biscuits from one batch. They are so cute and fun. The cutters themselves feel a little thin, and are not the strongest cutters I own, but they do the job more than well. Highly recommended.

These are great, a wonderful twist on traditional gingerbread men. They may at first appear small when you take the cutters out of the packet but the gingerbread expands whilst cooking to form perfectly sized portions. If you're considering these please buy them, they're great fun. Others have reported the cutters as flimsy but I think they are fit for purpose and certainly no more flimsy than other pastry cutters I've had made of the same material.

Very disappointed with the packaging - completely plain with no ninja pictures - had to print off an internet picture to put with the present. A fab gift let down by the absence of any pictures on the box!
