“It took Nine Minutes.”
Yes you are reading correctly, Donna has read and reviewed an MC book, it is not an illusion, nor a figment of your imagination, but alas I have read, devoured and loved an MC book. That in itself deserves a HUGE mention!! I guess I may hasten to add this is not your atypical MC book, hence probably the reason why I loved it so much. I can count the number of MC books I have read on one hand, I have tried to read them but as much as I will myself to love them, I just can’t. So when one of my blogger friends demanded I read this one, I was hesitant. I reminded her that I don’t read MC and she said “you have to read this one!” We are two peas in a pod for reading preferences, if she loves it, I normally do too, so I 1clicked and started reading…big mistake!!! I should have waited till the next day because I finished it at 2.48am…no biggie, but it is when your kids wake around 5ish. So the next day I was a zombie, not only through lack of sleep, but this story refused to leave my head, it was all I could think about and still think about. If ever an early release was needed, it is now, I want book 2 NOW!!
This book begins with an intense, engaging prologue. It is this prologue that sets the tone for the rest of the book. Its emotional pull is really strong, it hit me in the heart and from that moment on I was a lost cause, lost to the powerful words of Beth Flynn, to Grizz and Gin’s story and to the total mind f**k that was Nine Minutes. Once the title meaning of Nine Minutes is revealed, I was gone, totally and utterly gone. Never has Nine Minutes meant so much and it still haunts me. Nine Minutes is not good at all, Nine Minutes broke my heart.Read more ›
Ginny was an ordinary 15 year old girl who one day was kidnapped by a member of a Biker Gang.
She's kept against her will, and her family threatened should she try to escape.
Grizz the Gangs leader wants her for himself and no one ever says no to him.
As the story continues on and your left wondering will she ever escape, does she even want to.
What secrets are being kept, what's the story behind the notorious Grizz, what's his fasination with this Girl.
This book was thoroughly engrossing, I found myself wanting to find out more about their complex relationship.
By the time I'd finished reading this, I'd come to realise nothing is like it seems, People can love even in the strangest of circumstances.
Can't wait for book 2 fantastic read.
Every scene was weaved with such precision for it to then play a hand later on making it exceptionally clever. I can imagine this author having reams and reams of plot layout and character backgrounds galore scattered throughout her house, for its execution is flawless.
Oh, it was so thrilling to read a book that initially throws you for a complete loop just in the prologue...WTF? We know the outcome of Nine Minutes going in, but the hows and whys, and the events leading up to that pivotal is what makes this edgy, fascinating and undeniably brilliant.
Is this a Stockholm Syndrome story? Well yes, I suppose it is, but whereas so many focus on the brutality turned affection, this is the complete opposite. Grizz, the MC President of an outlaw club is feared and for good reason, he is the front of a notorious club who have no concerns about feeding victims to alligators in the Florida swamps; drug trafficking, prostitution, carjacking, murder, rape, oh the list is endless but Guinivere Love Lemon is different in so many ways. A Polar opposite, the light to his darkness and Grizz has had his eye on the prize for quite a while. Where he is brutal with others, Ginny, aka Kit, is the only person he allows in, he would give her the world, even his life if that's what she wanted, the only thing he could never promise her was her freedom.Read more ›

Many twists and turns. On the edge and couldn't decide what would happen next. Dark, sad and uplifting.
I have to be honest and say that I didn't think I would like this. I bought it a while ago, in one of my 1-click binges, without reading the blurb. Read morePublished 1 month ago by Jo Blogs
This is not your typical romance story, nor a typical MC tale. It was captivating. A fifteen year old girl is abducted in 1975 by a biker club, solely for its leader. Read morePublished 2 months ago by Karen Raines
