Product Description

The Nilfisk C110 3-5 X-TRA is a compact lightweight pressure washer with high performance. The C110 3-5 X-TRA makes easy work of cleaning tasks around the home and garden and is the perfect choice for automotive cleaning tasks. The machine includes a trolley for excellent mobility and the onboard accessory storage keeps all nozzles and accessories neat and tidy in one place. The powerful motor and aluminium pump provides 110 max bar pressure and a maximum water flow rate of 440 litres an hour. The machine comes complete with vario and high power powerspeed nozzles and chemical dosing bottle with foam applicator.

    This, my first pressure washer, is brilliant. It is light and very easy to use and gives fantastic results. Having never owned one before I didn't really know what it could do. After experimenting with the different attachments I found the one that gave the greatest water pressure. It easily cleaned off years of grime, dirt and chemical marks from bricks and paving stones and I was amazed at the result. If I was to use it on my car I think I'd use a less powerful attachment.

    The instruction book isn't up to much, but it is straightforward to set up and use. You need to connect a hosepipe and probably use an extension lead for your electricity supply. Then off you go. It is not noisy and does not interfere with nearby radio or TV reception. I've never heard of Nilfisk, but don't let the name put you off. It's a robust machine and I recommend it, especially at the prices it is being offered for on Amazon.

    I recommend you wear wellington boots and old trousers or jeans when using a pressure washer. I have found out that the back spray drenches conventional shoes!

    When it comes to washing cars you can't go wrong with this pressure washer it has more than enough power to blast away any kind of dirt from a car but when it comes to cleaning block paving it can't do the job very well but for its price it's well worth it. My brothers got a simular one but his has 120 bar pressure and it does a much better job than this one when it come to block paving I guess 10 bar more pressure makes quite a difference as this one has 110 bar but like I said if u need one for just washing the car and general cleaning then this is what u want but if your going to use it for more tougher jobs like blasting out weed from between block paving then u need to get a more powerful one. As far as I'm concerned it's well worth the price I paid for it.

    I have never had a pressure washer before and my husband doesn't like them so would have nothing to do with this purchase.
    I went for this one because of all the reviews and the price seemed worth the risk. It came with a CD which wouldn't play on my PC and a multilingual instruction manual that took a bit of fathoming. However once I got it assembled it seemed to work pretty well. Our flithy driveway looks much better now.
    It comes with 2 nozzles and no indication of which is which, so I tried the smallest first. Happy with that but I was then unable to remove it to try the other one. Hubby eventually took pity and did it for me - it was very stiff.
    I also failed to store the handle as the clips for that are very stiff and I don't want to risk breaking them.
    I was slightly unnerved to read that "This washer is only allowed to be connected with the drinking water mains, when an appropriate backflow preventer has been installed" I see that someone else has asked if anyone has got one of these and no-one has replied. So like everyone else (I expect) I just connected it to a hose pipe on the garden tap.
    As a small (5ft tall) middle-aged woman I found the machine was not too heavy or difficult to use. No doubt I will improve with practice. It makes a fair amount of noise but I expected that. It was certainly good value for money and I would have given it 5 stars if the instructions had been clearer.

    Ive had kartchers in the past but I have found them pricey for what they are. This is just as good and dare I say better in some respect, it is light, has storage for the onboard attactchments including the foamer which is great for filling up detergent and blasting over the car. I have cleaned both cars and the slippery path covered in moss algea at the side of the house making it safer to walk on in the wet. I have jet washed my wheelie bins saving me 6 pounds a month. I have cleaned my patio at the back of the house and the outside of the conservatory. All these jobs were done very quickly its easy to set up out of the box and the tall handle and wheels make it easy to manouver around the job. The attachments clip together and I like the way it all sits on the machine in its own storage area. Very happy with my purchase I highly recomend.

    I bought this cleaner for the odd cleaning jobs in ones life,van,path etc,I know nilfisk through the industrial products that they manufacture,mainly wet vac's which I have owned and used being a plumber,this little pressure cleaner punches above its weight and is simplicity itself and if used properly will last years,I also like the two nozzles supplied one fan jet for most applications with the adjustable lance can be poinetd point to clean and fan to rinse and the spinning jet which throws water at a 45 degree pattern lifting dirt and grime but will damage paintwork and soft materials like timber furniture.One point when using high pressure water devices is to connect all hoses and fittings and let the water run through and connect the nozzle last to flush and keep clear,if you are having problems with water hammer connect to the cold supply from the loft tank as pump will suck water from mains causing water hammer or cavatation,you can also wrap the pressure hose in split garden hose with insulation tape every 4" to keep on and tape the ends to the screw fitting's.happy cleaning.

    Purchased this for jetwashing cars and motorbikes, and occasionally to clean patios. The first two it does an ok job of, albeit it doesn't get the stubborn dirt off. The issue is with cleaning harder dirt: patios, decking, render and brickwork etc. It struggles to do much with that kind of material, but that is mostly down to its very small size and lack of power.

    If you're just after something that's a step up from using the garden hose, this is a good little unit, but if you're after something that can be used properly (i.e. for cleaning floors or for use with a foam lance) then I'd recommend something a bit more powerful. We ended up using this for a month and then giving it away and getting a Karcher.
