In my opinion this book is no way near as good as the those written by David Busch or Simon Stafford. Although it only has about 230 pages, I would expect the information contained to be to the point & fully explain topics; unfortunately, in most cases, it isn't & doesn't. The contents & index listings are very vague so if you want to find information on anything that isn't considered a main function, you have to skim through the whole book to find anything about it & even then it wont be described in much detail. The presentation & layout is very basic & so doesnt encourage you to use the book. If you want a fully illustrated guide with plenty of advice, photos, etc then get David Busch's Complete Guide to the D300s.
