Synopsis

Framed for assassinating the U.S. president at the end of Season Three, Nikita is the world's most wanted woman…alone, on the run and trying to clear her name. When she unexpectedly reunites with her old team – ex-fiancé and mentor Michael, former protégé Alex, tech genius Seymour Birkhoff and ex-CIA analyst Ryan Fletcher – they struggle to heal past betrayals while attempting to take down their nemesis Amanda, discovering in the process a vast conspiracy that threatens a global catastrophe. With wild card Sam back on the scene, emotions run high and counterespionage runs deep as Nikita battles to be true to her mission, the people she loves, and herself in the heart-pounding final episodes of this killer espionage series.

Nikita Season 4 Blu-ray.I have watched & enjoyed all 4 seasons of Nikita. It's been a gripping series. It's a shame that it had to end.The forth season being the shortest number of episodes. Maggie Q has been excellent all the way through. This forth season completes the series,or does it? avid fans would love more. They can make more from the ending should they want to. Yes Please! Highly recommended.

What a way to finish! I was afraid, the way the season started, and knowing that there was only six episodes, that this was going to fizzle out (a bit like Andomeda season 5 did), and you have to wait until the very last episode to get the punchline. What a knockout - everything tied up in a neat bundle. If you're a Nikita fan, and got a little tired with some of the lucky escapes, then it is more than worth the wait to get to the last and final act.

Simply spectacular; I love to guess, and I felt it had to end something like that, but this was a classy way of tidying everything up.

I'll watch this episode again, just for the pleasure.

Very highly recommend - if you stuck it out through all the other seasons, you deserve this icing on your cake.

As an aside, this is recommended viewing for people in high places who cancel sci-fi shows, because this is the way to finish a TV series properly.

Although Maggie Q is gorgeous - this complete series was bought for my wife - who sat thru all 4 hours per disk and 16 hours per series. That is some going! Sixteen hours per series x 3 equals 48 hours plus a couple of hours only on series 4 make an astonishing 50 hours!!! That's my girl! Me - a one and a half to two hour film is my limit!

A fantastic conclusion to the series. Couldn't have wished for a better ending. There are many Tv series out there that had a disappointing ending like Lost for example or were cancelled like 4400 or Dark Angel. So I'm really pleased that this was given a conclusion it deserved, even if the final season has only 6 episodes.

What a brilliant end to the final ever season. I am gutted its over. The plot thickens and we finally see Amanda's fate and my God has she gone insane. Sam or Owen well that's up to Alex and Ryan gets in too deep. A shocking end to a great show. This is a must get it now!!!

If you like the 3rd series, you'll need to watch this too; Nikita is an enjoyable spy with modern tech with conspiracy series, probably helped generate some of the cliches we have now about such programmes! (Alias generates the most). Do start with series one and follow the story arcs; Acting is generally good, and action rarely strays into too unbelievable; the lead characters do get injured sometimes which is unusual for this type of show!

The TV landscaped has changed dramatically in the last 10-15 years. Gone are the days when many shows were episodic, so canceling them without notice wouldn't be that big a deal. Instead, we get story arcs that last entire seasons if not years. Fortunately, many times networks recognize what that means to a shows fans, so we get a "last season" renewal to wrap things up.

That is how we got season 4 of Nikita. Honestly, I was a bit surprised the show had lasted this long with how low the ratings always were. While I wasn't a fan of season 3, after the cliffhanger ending, I was glad to hear it was coming back for a final six episodes.

And yes, I will be spoiling some things from season 3 as I discuss season 4. There's no way around it.

Especially since this season picks up with the aftermath of the cliffhanger. Yes, it's been a few months, but during that time, Nikita (Maggie Q) has been on the run, trying to find a way to clear herself of killing the President. While she is on her own, she is not alone in her quest since Michael (Shane West), Birkoff (Aaron Stanford), and Ryan (Noah Bean) are using a plane as their base, not only trying to track down Nikita but also hoping to find some evidence that clears her. The plane is financed by Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) who is using her fame, money, and charitable work as a cover. The biggest wild card is Sam (Devon Sawa), the operative formerly known as Owen.

With everyone working toward the same goal, it is inevitable that the group would reunite. Are their emotional wounds too deep to keep them from working together to clear Nikita? Especially when they realize they are up against The Shop and The Shop's newest mastermind - Amanda (Melinda Clarke).
