This concert from Wembley is magnificent. Too many people are pre-occupied with concentrating on "nit picking" about H.D quality. Just enjoy the show as I did - wish I could have been there, but this DVD has to be the closest thing to it. Also the Bass is very good - just turn down your sub a notch or two. Don't bother with DD 5.1.- listen in stereo, there is no comparison, especially with this concert. Save 5.1 for films which it was designed for. Very few music concerts sound better in 5.1. - D.T.S Master Audio is better but I think some concerts still sound better in stereo.

Fantastic DVD for any fan of Nightwish, with two audio options - Dolby PCM stereo and Dolby Digital (which I chose). Looks and sounds superb 😀
A shame that DVD 3 doesn't have audio choices - this is PCM stereo only...

I was a bit concerned about the quality of Vehicle Of Spirit having read the negative Amazon reviews, but being a fan went ahead and bought it anyway and was not disappointed. I played both shows through a decent surround sound system and it sounded great to me! This was the regular DVD version (rather than the Blue-ray). Really good value for money having two full concerts with varied set lists, plus a bonus disc AND packaged in a really nice sturdy well made "book like" case with quality colour photos. A must have for Nightwish fans.

You'd be tempted after watching Disc 1 for a few minutes to ask for your money back. The video from the Wembley gig is of a very low quality. I'm surprised it was even released in this state.

Many of the shots in the Wembley footage are out of focus. Not in an artistic way, but in a "you're not using the cameras properly" kind of way. Some shots go in and out of focus several times. Others aren't in focus at all but are used anyway. There is rolling shutter, camera shake, focus breathing, digital noise and all manner of other amateurish failings in the footage. The resulting footage is also very low resolution and not even worthy of DVD let alone Blu-ray.

And that's before we even get to camera placement, editing and camera angles. I don't think ever seen such an amateurish attempt at filming a concert by a relatively well-known band, from the noisy images, out of focus shots and unflattering camera angles. For a band that puts so much effort into the visual side of the show it paints them in very unflattering light. One might see a use for this footage as some sort of bonus material, but really putting it front and centre was a mistake. I don't know whether the fault lies with the label or the band, but the team hired to film this concert did not do a very good job at all.

I've heard talk of a "bad batch" from die-hard fans who refuse to hear criticism of the band. This is nonsense. Video does not go out of focus in a "bad batch". This is poor filmmaking. A bad batch doesn't result in awful unflattering camera angles. A bad batch doesn't mix the bass way too high.

Disc 2 which covers the Tampere stadium concert is much much better. Not up to the standard of the last release - the Wacken gig - but it's still pretty good.
