If writing is intended to be in a second language then the author must take the time and trouble to have it checked by a translator so it reads properly.
Although there must be sympathy felt for anyone in an abusive relationship in this case it is difficult to feel really sorry for the writer as there were many indications that the husband and mother-in- law were not to be trusted before the marriage took place. There were opportunities for the writer to avoid the marriage but instead she actively seeks it out.
I can't recommend the book at all.
