Such a shame. I ended up skimming through the pages, I hate to not finish a book but this was badly written and same same as most indie vampire books. I found the long winded run on sentences very annoying. Why don't people use the comma?

This puts me off buying indie stuff...

Shame, Come one get this book sorted and professionally written.

I'd never read a vampire book before, so it was with a little trepidation that I began. Within the first few pages I was hooked! I found it very hard to put the book down. I fell in love with the characters, the setting, the story. The world created by the author is so real that I found myself drawn into it completely. Cara's innocence is in sharp contrast to her dark, mesmerising, powerful employer Rafe. The scenes of her seduction are beautifully done. I'm eagerly anticipating the next book in the series.

Cara has been in New Orleans for six months when she finds her funds starting to run low.Hoping for a job singing and playing guitar at The Tears of Crimson night club she finds herself a waitress there instead. She finds the clientel a bit strange and sexy boss Rafe more than attractive.Rafe in turn finds innocent Cara alluring and within days they become lovers.
Everything moves along at a fast pace ,maybe a bit too quickly. It's not the longest of books and you need to be quick to realise that one paragraph we read Caras' thoughts and the next a different characters without warning.I stuck with it though as i did want to know the ending so it couldn't have been too bad.Quite a few mistakes throughout but not enough to spoil the story.
3* because it wasn't the worse book i've read or the best. It's o.k.
