Product Description

You don't need to wait for a special occasion to get these gorgeous serving utensils out, they're so easy to use and to clean, and make serving up your culinary delights even more of a pleasure. Made up of one spoon and one fork this set is perfect for serving up any kind of food, and look fantastic on the table. "I longed for a set of cutlery that combined form with function - balanced in the hand, so comfy to use, and beautiful with an almost Georgian elegance." - Nigella Lawson

Nigella Lawson is the author of many bestselling cookery books, which, together with several successful TV series, have made hers a household name around the world. Inspired by her time spent in the kitchen, and wanting to improve or make more desirable some of the tools of her trade, she developed her Living Kitchen range, co-designed with Sebastian Conran and launched by BlissHome. Paying close attention to the materials, colour, and form, the Living Kitchen collection has evolved to include objects which are of a high production and design standard and cover a wide range of kitchen needs. The original Classic range featured ceramics in Nigella's now signature colours "white with soul" cream and "good mood" duck-egg blue. The Liquorice collection recreates her signature pieces in sophisticated urban black ceramic. A selection of pieces are also available in durable melamine.

The fork is not pointy as it seems in the product photo and I'm yet to find anything that can be forked with it!

I use it for stirring brews whilst making wine as its got a good long handle but not much else. I'd imagined it'd be useful for dishing up the roast dinner etc but not so. The spoon is great for stews etc but the set is expensive to only get one useful serving spoon.

It does look good, great colour but more novelty than practicality.

It's supposed to be quite big, but two much big for me. In the other hand it looks quite cool in my kitchen and family and friends ask me where to buy it. Seems like it likes everybody :)

HASH(0x9da277b0) out of 5 stars too too big 3 Feb. 2012

While there's nothing wrong with solid, large plastic cooking utensils, these go a bit too far. I can't imagine needing a fork this size...maybe the spoon. If you can handle VERY BIG cooking forks and spoons, this is for you. I'm considering using them as wall decorations...seriously. Afterall, they are a pretty shade of red.
HASH(0x9dafdaf8) out of 5 stars Cheap Plastic Serving Pieces 28 May 2012

These are bright scarlet red cheap plastic pieces. I expected them to be more sophisticated looking. They also aren't very big--just a tad bigger than a soup spoon or a table fork. They aren't worth returning; I'll give them away the next time the charity truck comes by.
