I am a writer and speaker, working mostly in the UK but also travelling overseas to talk to adults and teenagers about many aspects of adolescence, teenage brain changes, stress, wellbeing, the effects of life online and the reading brain. I have had nearly 100 books published, including award-winners and best-sellers.
I campaign and speak up for the rights of writers and readers. I've been chair of the Society of Authors in Scotland and Chair of the Children's Writers and Illustrators Group of the Society of Authors, created the Fair Reading idea and the complementary Our World Book Night.
I do a lot of public-speaking, in school events, at festivals, for writing groups and conferences round the world.
My best-known factual books are Blame My Brain - The amazing teenage brain revealed and The Teenage Guide to Stress. The Teenage Guide to Friends is coming in 2017.
My best know teenage novels are Fleshmarket, Mondays are Red and Wasted. I've republished Mondays are Red as an ebook with brand new material. The video trailer is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qz5bQXAGBzs&feature=g-upl And some of my other award-winning YA novels are now available as ebooks, too.
My ebook, Tweet Right - The Sensible Person's Guide to Twitter, is a well-regarded help to individuals new to Twitter or wondering whether and how to get into it. Follow me on Twitter as @nicolamorgan or see my website at www.nicolamorgan.com
And I have written books and hundreds of blogposts to support writers trying to become and stay published. Write a Great Synopsis and Dear Agent are both ebook only and Write to be Published is print and ebook.
