The storyline is all about a macabre game that the detective John unfortunately finds himself being one of the main players. The author has written each character into the very fabric of the book.
This would have been a 5* rating, however, the amount of grammatical errors and words missing were far too many to forgive. (Perhaps I should be the authors next proof reader).
A really good read that keeps the reader in suspense right up to the very last page. The ending has the reader reaching out for the next book.
The torment of just how conniving and evil humans can be to each other.
How does one person make another person, act out their evil desires? Still don't know
No spoilers here. If you enjoy reading murder mystery then this book is for you.
I'm left needing to read book 2.
As this book ended, with the strong desire for me to find out how the story continues.
I've deducted one star, simple errors. Words missing or the odd wrong grammar. Nothing major just the odd one, made me have to read some sentences 3 times to understand.
I enjoyed this book and highly recommend. Not for anyone looking for a happy ending though, be warned.
For an first time author to get a book so right makes me wonder what Linda has in store for a second
Keep up the good work

Very poorly written with random punctuation and missing words on almost every page. Ends on a 'cliffhanger' but don't think I'll bother with the sequel :(Published 9 months ago by bcaskew
