Product description

Foreword by Peter Beardsley Includes A Programme of "An Evening To Commemorate The Heroes Of 1969" (40 years on) The Nineties was a tremendous decade for Newcastle United Football Club, a period of change in the club's fortunes from near relegation into Division Three to a top Premier League club. The story of these years is told in photos. Ian Horrocks was born and bred in Winlaton and has worked for local and national newspapers. He became Newcastle United's Official Photographer in 1994 but already had a substantial collection of club photographs from his days on the Newcastle Chronicle and Journal.
