Each episode stands alone and has its own cast.
There is a mixture of new stories as well as old stories - i.e stories that were in the original series.
It showcases old and young American & English Talent of the 1980s.
If you're not familiar with the Twilight Zone experience, the Twilight Zone is the 'zone' - that place of strange occurrences and/or with horrific consequences.
The TZ experience is that zone which exposes the 'divinity' within and/or the 'hell raiser' outside of ourselves' which is in constant battle, where the subconscious mind can conquer or defy all sorts of unimaginable feats that the psyche imposes.
In the Twilight Zone the unexplained is explained as a judgement call for the human adventurer on earth as 'Tales of the Unexpected'.
In terms of the stories, 'The New Twilight Zone' takes nothing away from The Twilight Zone.
The New Twilight Zone features two short stories to one episode, which make it a rather complex way of trying to locate your favourite story.
The DVD Disc itself has no working title list, but is listed in numerical order as episodes.
To find your favourite story, you have to 'select' the episode number, which then gives you two tiles to the one episode number you have selected.
On the inside cover of the DVD Boxset, itself, there is a full list of titles and the correct disc & season to locate any particular title, but it does not give the episode numbers of the titles by disc and season.
From the list and the episodes you have to figure out which episode number would have you favourite story.
For example: To get the titles of stories 9 & 10, you would have to select Episode 5.
There's no pictures, that explains the stories or no wordy overview that explains the story. The only way of telling whether your favourite story from The Twilight Zone has been transported into The New Twilight Zone is to watch it all in Seasonal, Numerical 'Order', as some of the titles of the remakes slightly changed.
For example Shelter - The Twilight Zone is renamed as Shelter Skelter in The New Twilight Zone. That's an obvious title to work with but not all new titles are so subtle.
The New Twilight Zone includes household names such as:
Shelter/Shelter Skelter is a partial true story. Check out 'Raven Ridge Luxury Survival Condos'. These are exceptionally large bunkers for the survival of those who make a purchase. The bunkers have never 'really' been tested. The results relies on the psychological analysis reports of 75 people cooped up for a 'reasonable' length of time, knowing that when they emerge they may be the only survivors in that Postcode/Zip Code.
